Well since the chamber "lives" at these establishments it's no wonder. Fine job they are doing, by the way. Such a business friendly town and all.

Sorry, but that article also didn't give all names. However, that is the newspaper's fault, not the Chamber's.

I hope the Tides Inn Market won. We love the gourmet baked goods!

Lynne do you realize that these nominations are decided by vote? All the businesses in the chamber of commerce are asked to vote, the votes are tallied and the board just counts and reviews them.Sonny if you think the chamber has room for improvement then why not pitch in,come to a meeting and tell them how to be more business friendly rather than just getting on Topix and talking trash.

Town Council has nothing to do with Chamber voting on "Business of the year". Dockside, like all places in CB, has to be creative to even stay open through the winter. They have done that. The pictures and story from the local papers also featured the owner of the Tides market winning an award. Is their a bar there that I am not aware of??? Nope. Is there some sort of conspiracy? Nope. If you want another business to win, join the chamber and vote for your favorite restaurant. Once again, people bitching about a brush fire while the forest burns down.
