Good! Belington had a lot of momentum going in it's revitalization effort, until this cop controversy and the ensuing election took the wind out of everyone's sails.
No matter what Pierce's merits or faults, the situation has done nothing but harm the town.
Maybe now the beautification efforts, revitalization of downtown & the park, On-Trac program, City park upgrades, and Civic Center remodeling can get moved back to the front burner.
Or, we can just bitch...
