John McCain showed some guts when he refused James Dobson's demand that he call on him instead of meeting at a neutral site. Looks like he lost his courage when the Graham royalty insisted he come to their palace in Montreat.

This meeting was so private that the AC-T didn't make John Boyle work on Sunday and WLOS didn't bother Sherrill Barber. The usual Graham shills with the local media were able to remember the sabbath and keep it holy.

Looks like Cindy McCain wasn't welcome at this good ole boys meeting. What ever happened to the family values the Grahams and Republicans preach?

Might he have acquiesced because of Graham's medical problems?

Simple. They talk the talk, but don't walk the walk.

McCain doesn't talk the talk, either.

Obama is worse.

McCain might have gained credibility if none of this made the press. It was simply a campaign opportunity.

I read where the Grahams didn't trust the Jews.
If not please tell me why not, they trust Jesus.
He was Jewish.

Graham made anti-Semitic comments to Dick Nixon. He didn't realize they were being recorded word-for-word. His words came back to haunt him.

Frankie likes the rollicking lifestyle of the teevy evangelist. The money rolls in from little old ladies spending their social security checks to guarantee eternal life and streets of gold.

Talking about Jesus brings them BIG bucks and is lucrative beyond belief. Judging from his own words, the elder Graham is an antisemitic hypocrite. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

McCain and Franklin were reminiscing over their wild partying days and all the young women they bedded. Franklin had more to add with his drug usage but McCain did some wild partying at the Naval Acadamy and always had booze on hand, which was illegal, especially while he was a plebe! McCain carried on partying during his Navy career and was known for his fraternization and adultry. He was having an affair with Cindy from Nov 81 until he divorced his wife in April 82 and then married Cindy, all the while as a Navy Captain. Why wasn't he subjected to the UCMJ, any other officer would have had his career ended, probably did keep him from making Admiral. He still got a 100 percent disabled retirement out of his service, even though he returned to flight status and was on active duty for 8+ years after coming home from Nam. Wow, a 100 percent disabled person can fly a fighter bomber and command a squadron while bedding young service women and a young heiress, such honor and integrity! Fits right in with Franklin though!

I'm a 42 year republican and been a born again christian over 50 years. I'm so disgusted with the republican party and the 'christian right's' political prechers I am sick to my stomach. We have decided that we would not vote republican in November, if the only names on the ballots were our children. We love and trust our children... its the Republican brand which represents deciet, dishonesty, twisted truths...and the christians are (once again) the ones who are demonizing everyone who does not agree with them. I have lost confidence in Billy and Franklin Graham for allowing themselves to be tied to a candidate and party with a world wide repution of deciet!

I'm with you...lets put in Obama so the country can pay more...amd much higher taxes. I am so excited that I can draw off of more government programs and rake in more welfare at your expense. I don't think I will have to work at all. Heck with being a born again christian...I can look at others...judge them, and use them as an excuse to live off the government. Go Obama!!!!

What a bunch of unhappy, meanspirited posts! Would you rather McCain had met with "Rev. Wright." Let's get a little positive here folks like "Love thy neighbor."
