I am delighted to hear she is safe and sound but there sure seems to be more to this story. I'm more than curious as to how all this plays out.

You seem to know her personally. Please enlighten us as to what she was going for a week on the trail.

Must be more than they want to release...

She was downtown asheville last week, left her car and took a cab to Black Mountain or Montreat...

I would want to talk to this cab driver that dropped her off...

I am very glad she is ok.....most of the time they just find the remains if they are lucky

Glad she is alright. I could of sworn that an article said the cab dropped her off in Black Mountain and not Montreat. This little gal got around. Boot scuttin woman.

For those of us who worked with Sue and knew her...I can only tell you that it was also a mystery to us. None of it made any sense. She is a very responsible, conscientious person. She is a caring and nurturing friend, always at the ready to help shed light on the positive. She loves children and animals and anybody in need. She is very generous of her time, her love, any resources. She is a beautiful being. And we are delighted to have her back with us.

I'm glad as well that she was found and is ok. There are so many scenarios in which things could have turned out differently. If the community never learns of what happened this week, thats ok. I just hope she explains herself to her family and friends who were so worried. I'd like to know as well though because she was in my prayers also. I dunno...we all want an explanation, but I guess her safe return to her family is that actual positive answer to our prayers.

As long as she is ok and was not tortured or violated ......It's best to let the family heal....

The only important thing here is the power of prayer worked for her..

Glad to hear she was okay. I wonder just how far from the 'drop off' point she was. It may seem strange that a person that is in a hike club could stay 'lost' for a week.
