Your reading comprehension sucks for someone who boasts that they have a doctorate. Perhaps you should be more careful with the words you use unless you want people to keep on thinking that you are an idiot.
"Taxes" != Income taxes
<quoted text>
I'll remember how little you consider $400 billion the next time you morons want to cut funding for the arts, women's health, etc.
Seeing that I am already in the top percent based on income, your statement is just more ignorance.
<quoted text>
Still don't get that I was mocking you and every time you use the handle it just makes you look more ignorant?
So the surtax is going to raise $40 billion a year for ten years...and in the meantime at current budget and spending numbers we will grow the national debt by $14.4 trillion dollars.

It seems more than just a little ignorant to be supporting $400 billion of new spending when we are getting $1.4 trillion in debt each year.

But then you think those chubby girls you pick up are super models so your perspective is a little distorted from the get go.

Extrapolate ...if 40billion is raised by a 5% surtax then a100% surtax would raise $800 billion...which would still leave a budget shortfall of $600 billion this year.

I don't think raising taxes is going to save us.

No one is saying that increased taxes is the only answer.

You've gotten quite adept at building strawmen...

Given the size of the national debt and the annual budget shortfall and the total failure of Obama's previous stimulus...raising taxes is a strawman argument in and of itself.

Isn't it ironic that the person who first trotted out the "strawman" position is unable to see the validity of my argument that the liberals are using the "tax the rich" as a strawman argument to avoid talking about the real problem ...how we are going to make budget cuts.

You never answered that BMI question I had for you. I think I know who you are.

You are right about one thing...I am more adept than you about every argument. That is because you are a liberal ideologue and you can't see out of your tunnel vision of the world.

It is amazing how the main stream media identifies with a bunch of twenty something pot smokers (all white so they must be racist) and hated the silver haired peaceful non law breaking tea party(who actually had many black supporters).

I think it reminds them of their own pot smoking youth. Nostalgic.

Anyone have a better explanation?

A little tunnel vision for you...I don't think you can coopt the OWS into an anti nuke demonstration.

I witnessed the crowd in Brattleboro and while they are not young they are definitely not mainstream either. This thing is definitely fringe in nature.

said the one who supports the Warmists/Alarmists 'solution' to the non-existant AGW 'problem' which is a G-d Carbon Tax! Which of course is based on a bullsh't STRAWMAN premise that we're cooking the planet.
I'll see you on the ski slopes yet again this winter Al Gore you lying ba$tard!! And next winter, the the next! So much for your predictions of 'sea levels to rise' and 'polar bears dying off' and 'no great effect from the Sun'(now totally debunked by top scientists)- that and much more disproven more and more with time and good scientists doing non-biased non-junk science .

That darn OWS it has taken all those fine Brattleboro anti nukin' protesters and convinced them to protest somethin' else. Oh what are we gonna do when we have another anti nuke rally. They might be just too tuckered to attend.

Seriously....it was exactly the same people who protest VY. How is that for a coincidence.

Let's think of something else they can protest. Something meaningful this time.

The reocurring constant in your schick is sterotyping people.

Old , Young, hippies, anti nukes. You not only sterotype you assume . You assume by the way people look how they feel about issues.

Interesting , lets do a study ! Many Faces Of A Moron ! I am envisioning a doctorate thesis !

Isn't there someone running around here yelling they were a doctor of all the morons or something ? Same guy that wrote the Nuclear fun fear , claptrap !I bet you'd like that !

Yes I get it...the people who hate being judged are the ones most nervous about the judgement they will receive. As for me...I'm not nervous about you judging me.... your stereotyping of me makes me know I'm doing something right.

I didn't say a thing about how anyone looked. That is your own low self esteem popping out.

When I say that I saw the protesters yesterday and know they were the same people who protest VY it is because I recognized them...not because they dressed or looked a certain way. As one other local pundit said this morning..."yes it was the same people...they hate everything".

I have absolutely no low self esteem .

What I dislike is categorizing anyone. The loose banding about insults that are constantly coming up to distract, scapegoat and insult any group of people i find revolting.If they disagree with you they are a hippie, leftie, liberals.old, homeless etc etc etc. Whats not mainstream ? YOU, not being there agreeing ?

I am not sterotyping you. Your handle says it all.

-who was this local twisted pee-nit?
I don't speak for all the rest there on Main saturday but I LOVE lots of stuff, like-

A safe Nuke-free environment, and

The Constitution being followed regarding protection of our true individual and unalienable rights (as opposed to non-rights like socialist 'healthcare' etc.) how wars are unlawful unless actually needed and Congressionally declared as the last time (1941) how the money is only lawful money if it's as the Constitution and federal law still say it's supposed to be

- I LOVE those things, but lament they are not the case at the moment- so I'm expressing my Love for Shumlin etc. doing their job to SHUT-R-DOWN and my Love of Ron Paul being a top tier Prez candidate who will actually enforce 'CHANGE'---change for the federal branch of govt. especially in cutting out ALL of the unconstitutional crap, which would save a lot of $$ for a good start. And he'll do it with 'Tough Love' of course.
-see, it's about hearts, not hates, you stupid idiotic twisting/strawmanning dinks!
Only a mutant ph***tard tries to say that those wanting Constitutional government are "anti-government"
-Peace & Love,

Since when do you think being called a "liberal" is an insult. That is pretty funny.

What is wrong with categorizing people. I don't mind being called a conservative at all. If someone thinks and acts like a liberal why can't anyone group them with other liberals. That is not to say they are all exactly alike but it is to say that they fit a general categorization of "liberal". We all are in one category or another politcally.

Have you ever categorized the tea party or that someone is a tea party like person?

About today's group down on Main St with signs in support of the OWS....every single one of them are people who are usually seen protesting VY. They are indeed the disenchanted.
