I'm so glad there are people coming on here now that aren't complete idiots. The little girl didn't make this up. It's so easy for the family and friends here to justify his stupid, disgusting, outrageous behavior and automatically assume innocence. He's not innocent. Get it through your head and deal with it.

I have known Frank well for over 40 years and only knew him to be all about family, and his family always included the children in his care. I am devastated by the charges and his death. I cannot imagine him ever molesting or making inappropriate gestures to a child or an adult. I hope that the results of the investigation are made public so that I will know if I was disillusioned with my dear friend. No matter whether it is true or false, my heart goes out to the child involved and to all of Frank's family and loved ones. Although it is one of the saddest things I've experienced, I can accept his suicide; I can well imagine the devastation he felt being separated from his family and knowing life would never be as he knew and enjoyed previously. I am, of course, hoping the results of the investigation will reveal his innocence because, like I said, I cannot ever imagine Frank being anything but caring and honest. If it reveals he was guilty, my heart still aches for him. He, his family, and loved ones are in my prayers and I also pray that this will be settled and that we are privy to the results so that we can all move forward.

Another Bethel Native wrote: <quoted text> Innocent until PROVEN guilty? I have no bias towards the accused, but please have the common decency to assume innocence unless you know otherwise. I believe that she knew cause I was a foster child there when I was 13 and now I'm 26. I used to wake up in the middle of the night and hear his wife yell at him for being "nicer" to the girls or looking at them in an inappropriate way. He used to also coach girls' basketball at the high school. I'm not saying whether or not he used to look at me that way cause I never paid attention cause I never wanted to be there in the first place, but I have a feeling she suspected something.
