Its a nightmare to get through downtown. Or go anywhere. The City cant handle this much traffic. People crossing where ever they feel like, stopping cars, with hands up, People running on roads side by side, now bicycle's on all roads, where ever you go, Horse and wagon and today finally a person in a wheelchair on a public road.We have Sidewalks and we have bikepaths. Why did we pay for them with our taxes,so they hinder us the drivers and endanger us?They need to stay of the road.Traffic downtown is horriffic and we dont need them in the mix.Doing a comuter train will not change traffic, period.People will still drive because they have to, may it be for an appointment, shopping or otherwise.Fall is almost here so the leafpeepers come in busses, again downtown. And adding more Appartments brings again more people into the city. Time for change, put in a buypassroad, so we who dont want to deal with this crazyniss finally can avoid the city. Those who want to visit, will come, those who dont want to, can drive around and bypass it.Even the police, Ambulance and firetrucks have a hard time getting through downtown, if there is an Emergency. All times of the day its congested. Its a traffic jam and it needs to be changed.

Sounds like you need the wide open spaces. River Street is our ring road.

Montpelier Vermont needs a McDonald's, it would class the place up.
