Nice to see Gibbs crawled out of the ditch to weigh in on this lofty issue.

Here's a news flash for Gibbs: next time you smash your car up don't leave the scene of the accident. Oh, maybe the laws don't apply to you.

Why the Goverment tells us they are not smart enough to buy a beer. They can not even smart enough to sign for Student Loan without a co-signer. Yet they become smart enough to make a intellegant choise to run the country? Wait sorry I should have remembered some of things College graduates have told me.

How about you get to vote when you start paying taxes....The last thing we need is more uneducated kids falling for the propaganda that got Obama elected.

Time to put more adults (working, tax paying and therefore probably Republican) in charge and stop with this progressive fantasy land.

I will try to say it even smipler for you. Except for voting 17 year olds are not to be considered smart enough to buy a beer or sign a contract for loans {without a co-signer}. But as I was typing this I remembered how dumb or if like stupid or if like childish any one of a number of college graduate's are. By the way how much formal education do you have. From the way you post I woul bet a masters at least. Sort of like the one who told me lying down in front on nazi tanks would have stoped WW 2.

You have to talk slowed than that for "Alex" to understand. Bet he still doesn't get it. Add it to the list of things he doesn't get.

The only reason this is even being considered is the current VT government has run out of suckers to scam. They need fresh new people to buy their BS. The taxpaying residents of this state, even super liberal ones, have been burned too many times and things are going to swing the other way.

Stupid voters, special interest contributions and crooked politicians got us into this mess. 17 year old voters will make it ever worse.

If you are 17 during the primary and will be 18 for the general, you should be allowed to vote in the primary. I can't think it effects that many people though, especially in a small state like VT.

You see "Alex" was brought up and taught to think that if you have nothing nice to say, just say nothing nice. It's like a tradition for him to be the way he is. Seems to be working though. In his mind that is. Whats money without friends I always say. The good thing for "Alex" is that he has enough money to buy his friends otherwise he would have to go without.

From what I'm told by his ex's "Alex" has a "Masturs" and a "Bators" which come in handy while he is traveling or at one of his many womanless hideouts. He is always making fun of my egregia cum laude distinction though he can make no similar claims. Even at his diminished capacity he is still fun to play with.

Sounds absurd but may hold merit if not influenced by mommy and daddy.

I think if you actually read what you're typing and use proper grammar you'd get much less flack and get your message across much more clearly.

My points will get flack no matter what if one shows how bad the Democrats have done or are doing. For example did you see double-digit raise in medicare drug plans next year. Which shows how good Obama health care is working. To save ULTRA/LIBERAL trouble {A} it would have been worse under Bush Or {B} it will only effect the rich {C] it's needed no matter the cost. If want give few more examples

You people never cease to amaze me ...you want 17 tear olds to vote, but you don't want them drinking or having sex with anyone 5 years older than they are...you cannot, i repeat CANNOT give a teen adult rights and leave some of them out. if you believe they are old enough to vote, then you are saying they are adults, so they should be able to do what they want.
