Man, 26, booked in rapes from 2003

Deputies booked a 21-year-old man with aggravated rape in connection with sexual assaults dating back several years, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office reported Thursday.

Mr Douglas Davis is 21 years old not 26 as this story alleges. The alleged rape occurred when he was 13 years old. If you attained this info through court records or police reports please let them know so the record can be cleared. This is not a case of statutory rape or indecent behavior with a juvenile. This is the case of two juveniles engaged in this sexual "crime". Perhaps not a chargeable crime at all. Apparently Mr Davis has a large lawsuit against Tangipahoa for wrongful imprisonment.

Mr Davis has been imprisoned in an over crowded jail cell for over a month without benefit of attorney. Public defender was requested but never supplied.

This news source states Davis Age as 26 and in the first sentence in small print refers to Davis as a "21 year old man".

Both ages 21 and 26 are criminal in the case of indecent behavior with a juvenile. Mathematically challenged officials are a dangerous species. They are charging juvenile indecent juvenile behavior with another juvenile. This is gross ignorance coupled with gross injustice. Typical Louisiana Politicians.

Do the math. Mr Davis was 13 at the time this alleged juvenile crime was committed.
