Christ'A s Lutheran Church, which until 1942 served Alvira and the surrounding area in Lycoming County, still stands today but is on U.S. Bureau of Prisons property so the public has no access to it or a nearby cemetery except on special occasions.
what a waste a beautiful church what good is it if no one is allowed to go
