If its the picture about the deer and all, it is fake. However, there is a panther, as well as a bear in the area. I was leaving from church and when I got home and out of the car to unlock my door, I heard what sounded like a woman scream but much louder and scarier. As for the bear, my neighbor has chicken houses and has cameras around them and caught a bear on the film.

Panthers do not live in this area. However, I've heard the scream you mentioned before where I live in Murl a couple of different times. I researched it few years ago whenever I first heard it. It belongs to a cougar. Which are very scarce in this area. I can no longer find the link to the site that had the audio clip, but it matched what I heard perfectly.

Bobcats, or lynx whatever you what to call them. I have seen them several times in the area. The mountain ridge that runs from Sunnybrook, through behind Powersburg, beech Bottom, and accross Popular Mountian has all kinds of stuff the comes in from TN. Slickford, JimTown and on.The old road runs smack dab through the middle of this.

Do you think a ball bat would help if a panther or mountain lion should attack? No more protecting yourself with a legal gun. Mr. Ron Emanuell said years ago, never let a crisis go to waste. Look up the UN power grab over gun control. Find out things for yourself.

A cougar and a panther are merely the same thing. A panther is just black. I know for a fact on Poplar Mnt. there is a panther, cougar, and bear.
