Wayne County Grand Jury Indicts Two On Murder Charges
The Wayne County Grand Jury met Tuesday, July 17th for their regular monthly session and returned two murder indictments – fourteen other individuals were indicted..
Former Assistant Wayne County Attorney Roderick Tejeda was indicted
for Murder in connection a two vehicle collision on North Main which claimed
the death of Jerus Helen Neal.
Jimmy D Massengale was indicted for Murder in connection with the shooting death of Roger Dean. Massengale was also charged with three counts of wanton endangerment for firing a firearm in the direction of Cynthia Wright, Rebecca Cross and John Garner. Massengale was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Clifford McGuire was indicted for promoting contraband, 1st and persistent felony offender, 1st.
Alisha Sanders was indicted for Receiving Stolen Property over $500 dollars.
Anthony Thomas was indicted for Manufacturing Methamphetamine, and Possession of A Controlled Substance, 1st.
Sandra Daniels was indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st
Derrick J Lyons was indicted for Burglary 2nd and Theft by Unlawful taking over $500 dollars.
Dallas Brandon Sanders was indicted for Promoting Contraband, 1st … Asssault, 3rd … and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st.
Tammy McGill was indicted for Flagrant Nonsupport and Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd.
Danny L Doane was indicted for Flagrant Nonsupport.
Vance Webb was indicted for Theft by Unlawful Taking over $10,000 dollars and another count of Theft By Unlawful Taking - a Firearm.
Rickie Brown was indicted for Tampering with Physical Evidence and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Dustin Davis, Justin Byler, and Derrick Clark were each indicted for three counts of Burglary 3rd and three counts of Theft By Unlawful Taking over
And Billy Sward was indicted for Receiving Stolen Property over $500 dollars.
The indictment of a person by a grand jury is an accusation only and that person is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
