obama has done nothing at all for us except to put us more in debt and try to get more muslims into the USA. he is no good as president and if elected he will do nothing more than dig our hole a lot deeper. what a waste of 4 years past and now there are some who want to put him in the office 4 more years. Please vote R and R.
So do people like you HONESTLY think that our president actively tries to build national debt and "get more Muslims into the USA"? Complete stupidity aside, I'm going to let you in on a little secret:

The president doesn't "do" anything like the things you and millions of other willfully ignorant sheep think he does. The budget, "Obamacare", etc. etc. all come from congress. Sure, the president makes backroom deals with them and publicly states what he wants, but he can only sign what congress puts in front of him.

We happen to have the most do-nothing congress in history right now. The credit for this goes to both parties, but more than half of the blame lies on the republican side because they are INTENTIONALLY doing nothing, getting paid (by our government AND the corporations that control it), and laughing as they get reelected. And beyond that, they are all signing a strict "not going to raise taxes on the worthless money-grubbing mega-rich" pact. McConnell is the worst of the worst, so people like you in this state are directly to blame for the problems we all face. Vote with your brain, not with your Bible. Unless you're truly happy to watch the country burn to the ground as long as you get to oppress gay people, oppress people of other religions and make sure nobody aborts a single zygote for any reason.

I am not a Topix responder, but after reading you last post in the Obama Forum, I am passing curious as to who or what you are. I do not agree or disagree with your basic opinions regarding your political and/or religious beliefs as they are your opinions and I do not care to promote my opinions or demote yours. You and I each have one vote just like all the other folks you degrade on Topix and that is all that counts come election time.
However, I am given the impression that you are young, have had, possibly, some higher education, enjoy trampling others, possibly to overcome some sort of social or physical deficiency, and you really do not have respect for anyone. I also believe that you are trying to prove something, maybe to be considered powerful, or intelligent, or just smarter than everyone else, I am not sure what.
I am sure that you do not care what I think or say and that does not concern me in the least, I was just compelled by your latest remarks to “drop you a line” to express a passing thought.
In closing, I do want to wish you success on your quest to be bigger, better, faster, stronger than everyone else and I hope that you current life’s path serves you well. Good Evening.

actually I think it might be the other way around as to who might be stupid here. you obviously are one who speaks when they should be listening in my humble opinion. For instance:
what has obama done since taking office? gas has risen 103%?
put us 5 trillion more in debt!
more Americans out of work than ever before!
Had congress to himself for 2 yrs passes stimulus, his budget, his Obama Care and anything else he wanted with NO opposition!
Spent $4 million on vacation cost for his Hawaiian Christmas vacation(s)
His wife spends over $10 million a year on her travel!
Only showed up for 38% of his daily briefings since he hijacked the office of President!
Lastly on this and I will hush as it will probably take you all night to read this. On March 16, 2012 YOUR man issued another executive order entitled National Defense Resources that gives the president the authority to take over ALL resources in the nation such as labor, food, industry, etc. as long as it is done to promote the national defense. basically he can seize control at his desire anytime he wants.
certainly this is not all he has done but if this is who we have as president and I hope we can oust him out this November. call me a redneck, stupid or whatever but just know what you speak of next time you call me out. and by the way I am through answering you and you blabbing.

You are on Topix and responding. So you tell me how factual your lead in statement is.

My single well informed vote is of essentially no consequence next to the army of proxy Limbaugh/Hannity/Maddow/Schult z (insert any other mouthpiece) voters. However, my opinion is far more important than that of anyone described as such.

I am older than most people in the country.

I have about the same level of education of the average person my age.

I enjoy trampling others because they choose to be trampleable.

I have no deficiencies that I am trying to overcome by doing this.

I have respect for everyone who actually thinks for themselves, is consistent and respects the rights of others. It's not my fault that it's an exceedingly short list.

I think I am proving that people generally don't think or know how to keep their secondhand beliefs away from other people's rights, though I don't really care about the opinion of anyone who believes that I am not.

You are correct that I don't care about anything you say, but only because you're using veiled condescension/fake well wishes to attempt to knock me down a few notches, and you appear to have nothing of any value to say about anything. Next time you post, if you bother, you should attempt to be less fake. It sickens me. Say what you mean to say. And if you feel the continued need to attack me, try to attack the validity of my points instead of providing nothing but ad hominem.

Yes, you would think that because stupid people don't realize they are stupid. And your humble opinion is a stupid one, so I don't care about it.

Gas prices:
http://66.70.86.64/ChartServer /ch.gaschart?Country=Canada &Crude=f&Period=60 &Areas=USA%20Average,, &Unit=US%20$/G

Note the date of the peak price, stupid (Hint: Bush owns it). But, even more important than that, realize that presidents don't set gas prices, stupid.

Federal deficit:
Which president was in office when the budget with the highest deficit ($1.413 Trillion) in history was signed?
Bush.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_United_Stat...
It's been going down since then, stupid.

Out of work:
I'm guessing you don't know what a "trend" is, nor the impact of overall population on the determination of "most people out of work" in history. There were more people unemployed in 2009 than there were even people in the country in 1820. That's what historical population based values mean. Even at a MUCH lower unemployment value than we had during the great depression, Bush greatly exceeded the overall unemployment numbers during his presidency (not saying this means anything, as it does not). You are parroting a "talking point" of the extreme right mouthpieces without having any understanding of how irrelevant such a figure is. What matters? Rate of job loss or recovery.
The rate of job loss peaked in the month following Bush's departure from office. I'm sorry, but it's a completely invalid criticism to state anything about maximum number of job losses and our current president.
If you wanted an at least REMOTELY valid criticism, it would be that jobs have not been restored quickly enough. But that's still stupid because, as I've said, we have a do-nothing congress. They are useless and pretty much entirely to blame for the lack of recovery, stupid.

Presidential vacation:
Another biased and stupid figure directly from the same crowd. FYI,$3.3 Million of that made up cost is credited to running Air Force 1. Bush spent 1020 days on vacation. Using the same logic and values, that comes up to $124 million. Stupid.

Wife spending:
No real difference here from Mrs. Bush. Commonplace numbers thrown out without context to incite outrage only fool the stupid, stupid.

Executive orders:
So you have no problem with the Bush/Cheney method of governing by illegal executive order, but you have a problem with this. They've all overstepped the intent of their authority, and now you're mad about it because somebody told you to be. I'd call you ignorant, but I don't think you fit the bill, stupid.

Ummm I have watched you go back and forth with dwight and whoa 1 and simply wanted to make a comment about your "attitude". are you simply eat up with the dumbass or is the chip on your shoulder so large that you don't know what to do with it so you set about to make everyone think you are so wise thus you try hard to intimidate those who do respond to your posts? you obviously are very uncertain of your life or else you are making an attempt to prove something which I don't know what that is nor do I really care but why don't you try being a bit nicer person on here. No one can comment on here unless you want to degrade them by name calling and you are incorrect when you call everyone stupid. Now you have a nice day if that is possible.

Whoa1 and Ummm have got their own stupid feud going on and they just want to act like who's smarter than the other one. Do like the rest of us has learned to do and just start skipping over their remarks. Ummm is so very rude and conceited that you can't hardly stand what she says and Whoa1 just likes to argue back with her. All they do is repeat repeat repeat the same old arguing. Hardly none of us read or reply to their paragraphs any more. Usually their remarks are so long that you get lost trying to read them anyways so you'd do good to scroll over them like the rest of us does now.

most of you have no clue about what the president has and hasn't done because all you know is what you hear from others. He has done only what the Senate allowed him to do.He was elected as a fall guy for bush just someone to blame what was already going to happen to the economy on.so do some reading and looking about it's all here on the net.He got our soldiers out of Iraq and he got bushes old business associate binladin.I'll put my vote on mr obama because i think he is the only one that can smoothe over whats going on now before we get in WW3 and its comes to our doorsteps.

Would you like to know what's wrong with this country? People will tolerate the oppression of people who aren't like them, or statements that are completely without merit about a person who isn't like them, as long as you aren't simply mean to people who are like them. Did you say anything to that moron when they posted that the president was only trying to "get more Muslims into the USA"? Or when they said Obama was a dictator? Nope. But did you say something to me when I called them stupid and completely destroyed every argument that they attempted to throw at me? Yep.

Same for the guy that said Obama is a "full blooded idiot" that wants to kill babies. Or the one that implied Mormons aren't Christians. Nothing from you on those. Apparently these don't bother you as much as somebody calling stupid people stupid. That's a pretty disgusting way to think.

Perhaps you should reevaluate what is worth fixing in the world. And while you're making an attempt to actually use your brain, ponder the fact that you are a HUGE hypocrite for trying to scold me for saying mean things to people while you insult me by telling me I have something wrong with me and imply that I'm not more wise than these morons. Insulting while using "nice" words is simply a cowardly version of what I'm doing, done only to degrade others while saving face, and I have no respect for it. And neither should anyone else.

I'm not acting. I am clearly much smarter than that person. But I want to know why a girl can't be confident without being called conceited? Can only guys do that? Is that why people get so mad about what I say? Sexism?

And I also don't have a problem with people not reading what I post if their feeble minds can't comprehend what I'm saying. Not everyone has an IQ higher than 80 (or even 60), you know. No need to waste your time reading it if you aren't capable of understanding. Though I wonder why you are reading at all, if that is the case.

So, nobody reads it. And the use of the word "nobody" would also mean that you do not read it. And then you claim that what I write is boring and inane. So, at best, one of your two statements concerning what I write is a flat out lie. But that's giving you too much credit. In actuality, both of your statements concerning my comments are lies. And I know you don't really think I'm a moron.
