What they drive?????Im sorry i might have misunderstood what you were saying. 80% of the police in WC drive brand new vehicals, and the undercover units are less than 2 years old-have you checked on the price of a new dodge charger these days?

sounds to me that your hard earned tax dollars are at work. I don't mind and support our local law but what does happen I think is that these unmarked cars and trucks? go home with the officers and since they are unmarked they can be used for personal vehicles. That I firmly believe is wrong.

back in the old days the drug dealers(moonshiners) would invest in some very fast supercharged cars I guess u could say,our law enforcement officers need cars to keep up with them! And as far as personal use some police officers get out and go at all hours of the night! So I dont see why they shouldnt be allowed to drive them home! Would u like for me to give u examples????

Alot of them need to get to the lake in a flash to meet a few (rips) and our tax dollars pays for this crap!!!!Then they wonder why the one they leave at home all the time goes somewhere else.If you dont pet your dog every once and a while hes go to go lay on another porch.

I do agree that our officers need dependable vehicles, BUT come on every year our tax dollars go toward the cops riding comfortably on our dime. I met a police officer and his wife in an offical sheriff car at their child's sporting event. So we pay their gas for family outings. I really like this officer but I don't want to buy his gas that is why he gets a paycheck so he can buy his own car and his own gas! If you properly maintain a vehicle there is NO REASON at all that they should have to replace these cars/suvs until they are at the least 5-7 years old.SAVE OUR TAX PAYING DOLLARS.

I'm not a cop but I have been in the military and I have respect for those that put their life in danger daily. Try to get over it. Or run for office and receive the perks for being on the force!

I'm assuming since this community has a small force; the officers even when off duty....could be called to go help. I mean with all the meth problems. I would not judge any of them personally. jmo

As a taxpayer I think the law enforcement is very underpaid for risking their lives on a daily basis. If they would cut buying a new car every yr cut using the car as their personal vehicle like (shopping at somerset)and cut paying for their cell phones, They could each get a nice raise and be paid what they should.

Yeah right, I would tell the Pres to but he dont have a clue who you are or will never see you again. You try telling a cop here that & just see how many times you get pulled over after that big boy!If you dont believe that your either a cop or an idiot.
