Miniard just put a former deputy sheriff murder defendant on Russell County streets last week on a property bond before upcoming murder trial next fall. The defendant shot and killed his wife ,terrorizing the neighborhood ran from another deputy in pursuit and broke in a nearby trailer and attempted suicide before being caught last fall ! Two years ago Miniard probated a Russell Springs funeral director who stole over $100,000 in prepaid burial plans from elderly victims. Terms of probation was that defendant repay these elderly victims(many who have already died)$100,000 total stolen at the rate of only $1000 a month !

The county attorney or commonwealth attorney will make the sentence recommendations and he just oversees them. If you want to blame someone for how many yeas this person got and how few this one got, then you need to blame the prosecutors not the judges.

I also hear he is under investigagtion for all the high bonds he won't reduce down and how he is agreeing with dismissing people who are ratting on others. Is this misconduct on his part that the attorney general would be investigating

Miniard is ok. I sure would hate to walk in his shoes. He has a tough job trying to satisfy the law and everyone else.

I might feel sorry for him if he wasn't out doing as bad as the criminals he is putting away for a long time and holding under ridicoulous bonds. I can tell you stories that would make your hair stand up about the prominent Mr. Miniard Jr.
I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing i was prosecuting people for things that I done worst than them but that is our high powered judge and judicial system

he's not a prosecutor,$tupid f*ck. your "info" is ignorant!!

its our "high powered judge and judicial system"- go get a high school diploma, bachelors,$ juris doctorate, pass the bar exam, and then maybe you can become involved in it.

and why in the hell is everyone so worried about these fuckin bonds? these pieces of $hit need to stay in jail so we dont continue to have f*ck'n shootings and even more robbery than we already have!!!!

RECIDIVISM- go look it up!

Judge Miniard is not a drunk. He hardly ever drinks anymore. He is a great Judge and one that we should all be proud of.
Last I heard he was dating a lady but no names will be mentioned.
Dear pioneer,

Judge Miniard sure was putting the liquor away last night! After getting him down off the table, and insisting he put his clothes back on, he started to get a little violent! Eddie Poore was quick to put him in his place, and William Brown (was resistent at first) BUT chose to help Miniard dress!
After hours of smashing windows and breaking liquor bottles over his head. He got in the car with the biggest ho in town and left! Rumor has it, he was headed to Stokes Street, and we all know whats over there!

P.S. I am requesting immediate intervention!

Yours Truly,

The Ghost

I don't know why you would bring Eddie Poore in this because he has been in jail since last Thurs a week ago. But it is true that you can find Miniard down at Beaver creek on a houseboat wasted in every way. Or in Lexington at a bar, or how about that night at cotton eyed joes in Tn
Someone should go to visit him at Deer run and take him a fifth
