There is a new Pain Management Clinic opening in Monticello in just a few months. For those who seriously have chronic pain, I hope this will be of help to you and your family members, who have suffered with you. Please do not come to this facility when it opens and drug seek you will be found out, trust me.

Will this clinic accept medical insurance or is it a cash only clinic? My mother has a cervical spine injury and cannot not ride very long distances without getting nauseated, it would be great to have a place close in Monticello to take her. We tried taking her to the one in London but it was too much of a trip for her and the one in Somerset is cash only. Do you have anymore information about this new place? Do you know where it will be located? What the Doctors name is and etc?

just another means of funneling pain pills into our weak little community....who will be the wealthy one this time??? We've had enough money made on drugs in our town, so I guess the wrong people have heard & are looking for a cash cow!!

You must be young and healthy. Bet you don't have a loved one with injuries that lives with disibilities that you have to care for. When they have injuries that they can honestly say that they live for the quality of life not quanity then you know nothing about where I'm coming from. When you have a loved one in so much pain that they don't worry about how long they got to live, they just wish if they have to live maybe they could have some help with the paino they could have a few minutes of quality time during the day. Good for you right now, but if you are the rest of us , this will cross your path before you die and when it does I hope you remember your comments. While there is a drug problem here in our town, there are very real patients here, too.

I totally understand where you're coming from. A have a lot of painful medical conditions. Some days I just lay in bed and cry. Some days I hurt so bad I cannot even lay in the bed, I have to get up to try to get relief. Southcreek Doctors won't prescribe anything that will do any good. They have a way of helping my life not to be so miserable but won't give it to me. They say too many street drugs so they only give them to cancer patients most of the time. There is a patient rights that says a person has the right to be free of pain if possible. The Drs. have violated this right at their own discretion! Is that fair to the real sick and hurting people?? I would like to hear others opinion of this.Is there any way I can enforce this right or is it just useless?

I am not at liberty to post the Dr.s names nor the name of the clinic, I posted all that I for sure know for a fact in the earlier post. This will be a place to help only those whom have real chronic pain. Those that come to drug seek will be sorely disappointed. This thread is not meant to be offensive in any way toward anybody. My only desire is for those who need help with their pain to get the help they need, because no one should have to live in pain. I am sorry if this has offended anyone.

It's awful what the dr's give for pain and it's all because of the drug abuse!! I'm not on drugs but recently had surgery on two broken bones and in major pain, the meds the dr gave me only took the pain away for one hour, then actually calls me and tells me not to take too many cause it causes liver damage.... Y the hell give it to me if it does that?? I'm so upset that I've struggled with severe pain and can't get nothing to control it.... Major BS. I'm going to the pain management clinic after this is all over with cause I'm pretty sure I'm facing pain for the restof my life with a plate and screws in my ankle, heck with the dr's... I'm not suffering if I ain't got too!!

Not everyone is on or looking for drugs.Just to let you know, I am a well qualified CNA/SRNA I have a clean record on the Nurses Registery and I have great references.I do NOT want a job all over Kentucky, I want one locally. I've worked in other counties for years and it's time to come home.My work history is 30+ years and I've never been fired from job--How about you? You do not know me, therefore you comment was very uncalled for, my previous post was not for YOU but this one IS!!!!

The dealers are not going to want to see this "drug dispenser" come to town....will cut their profits!! Of course, meth will still be drug of choice because it's CHEAP, & dope heads can't afford anything else, AND because they're HOOKED, just like a big old catfish on a worm!! They are sorry pieces of flesh!!!!

Who cares about the meth heads they are going to be dead from all that draino eating them inside out. If they ain't got sense enough to quit let them go ahead and do their self in. Then they will out of our town in the ground the sooner the better. Wish they would all drop dead today. Then maybe the real people could get help without discrimination. I don't have days and nights like I use to before my accident. I get rest for exhaustion not because I feel like sleeping. I hurt so bad that I wish I won't wake up when I do go to sleep. I hope it's a real pain clinic that takes insurance and not a cash only pill mill. Otherwise the druggies will take it over. Theres now way I non druggie could afford to go to a pill mill very long, they would be broke.

Maybe the clinic will bring in stronger & longer lasting pills. The
ones we deal with now are too weak & puny!!
