They are non-narcotic... Did you know they are in the process of changing them to a scedule 4 narcotic?
I personally dont see what all the fuss is over 'em, and trust me, I know people that would rather have trammys than hydros...
The people that I know that take them, have even been needle pushers, they say that if you take the trammys for a while,(they usually eat about 5 @ a time) that the withdrawls are worse than methadone withdrawls... I know it sounds like a joke, but I have seen it for myself...
So, my advice would be DO NOT even take them, UNLESS your in pain like the one that made the post that was in a carwreck....

I currently take Tramadol for dis-located lumbar disc. I was seeing a dr.@ a pain clinic getting hydro's but got concerned about addiction. SO, I switched to tramadol and nothing else. I was told the Tramadol does not hurt your liver, I really hope that is true since that is one of the reasons I wanted to switch. This is something I'll have to deal with for the rest of my life, and I am trying to be safe about it. I don't get "high" from the Tramadol, and really don't understand what the big fuss is over them?? I guess there's always people that will abuse any kind of meds they can get their hands on which ends up hurting the ppl that actually need that drug. It's ridiculous! And, it makes drs. look at innocent ppl like they are pill heads!

I understand your point, and it is a great one. The people that take them, say they dont get a buzz off of them, but they get energy, and just feel real good.. They say, you DO have bad withdrawls from them. I hope you do good with taking them, especially since you didnt wanna take a narcotic. Good luck
