You know what the sad part is? I remember when Thomas "peanut" Hines was preaching. Now he is making meth. Sad!

What sad times we live in. In my day all you heard about was drinking and growing pot. Now all your hear about is meth and its 10 times worse. I'm scared of what the next generation will have to suffer with. Will it be 10 times worse than meth?

Meth was around in the 60's, the biker gangs sold it and the hippies wouldn't touch it "SPEED KILLS" was their slogan and they were talking about METH. at that time, they stuck to pot and LSD, but eventually that led to other drugs, and it usually does.

The only reason Meth is the "monster" drug today in this area is because it is 1. Cheap; 2. Easily made from ingredients available in Wayne County or imported from Mexico.

OPIUM and HEROIN were the first "monster" drugs back in the early 1900's. Then it become COCAINE. Next was METH in the 60's. Then it was COCAINE again in the 80's and CRACK around 1990. Next was OXYCONTIN by the late 90's into 2000. From then till now its been METH, AGAIN.

The point is that the attributes of the particular drug are symptoms of the problem but not the problem itself. Hacking at the symptoms just makes the problem spread broader and wider, like pruning a weed instead of poisoning its roots.

but meth addiction does inflict a lot of harm very quickly, but so does huffing gasoline, paint and computer duster.

for all of you thinking about how wonderful meth is---I would like to share this. Took a class on this subject in order to help my students, and found that one of the main ingredients is the --Meth users' own urine--(pee)...they sell it back to the "cookers" for another hit----without paying cash. the Cookers--boil it down and use the crystals (dope), to add back to their new batch...Yumm, Yummmmm...Bon Apetite

Noted: court records are public domain---but---should be accessed privately by going to the courthouse and accessing this info., instead of broadcasting it over the radio.....Must have been a slow news day. Or is this done everyday.? So sorry. The charges against these people should be adequate enough, without the public humiliation on top of it.

publich humiliation. first a meth lab blows up on a guy and he gets nothing but prayers for being blown up by his lab, and he has been busted with at least two labs after that. the public humiliation is that we get to read the same names in the paper from week to week either getting busted or indicted. the public is being humiliated not these methheads.

Everyone is entitled to my opinion and i think we should have a legal place for meth users to go get it and give them all they want but keep them locked in this place until they self destruct so they can do it without harming others (which they are gonna) we all have choices......
tax payers work and keep up druggies and when they get caught we provide them with free lawyers and if they are in jail we pay for that if not we pay...pay...pay for their medical, food stamps, welfare etc. cause 99% will not work and will not change.....
they reproduce and we pay for that....
society does not need these people ..... it would be cheaper and better to give them all of what they want and get it over with!!!

put to a vote on the ballot and this would win.....caught doing drugs you should not be allowed to vote, have drivers license or have children either

Public humiliation is the least of their worries....their only concern is getting the next high & it dosen't matter what-where-or who it's done to... or else these people would NOT be involved in crime & breaking the law!!!

They plea bargain everyday so it is not like even being found guilty will hurt these people. The ring leader in Kaydon Branhums case was given a plea bargain and will be getting out soon on time served when the rest of them aren't even eligible for a fair a SPEEDY trail so where is the justice in Wayne county...Sounds like if you take a bargain around here all the REAL charges will be dropped if they would actually punish these people then maybe less people would be willing to do the crime because they would worry about the TIME!

Well, doc we all know who u are! Instead of spreading our names like we're all guilty, maybe u should get some more info, before u have to put it all out there. It was already in the newspaper, do u think ur gonna get a tip off here. Sorry, but as u can surely see, most of these persons are not reliable. Anyway just wanted to let u know, that we're supposed to be innocent until proven quilty. And I'll tell you what, no one is going to set me up and think he's gonna get away with it. I will fight until i cant fight anymore. But, u should know what we're supposed to be innocent. If anyone knows, u should. If you don't , u dont need ur job.

Just a little common sense people, you may see this as private, but anytime you are indicted, you no longer have the right to privacy. This was in the local paper, this was on the news. Yes you may fight the charges. Yes you are entitiled to a fair trail. The wrong is to not do Meth, do not sale Meth, and do not make Meth. Don't steal from other people, or take material things that don't belong to you. Do not write checks when you know you don't have the money to write them. Common sense people. Do the right thing, stay sober, get a job, and any job will do. The ole saying do the crime, do the time or at least pay for it. The same names appear over and over again, so maybe doing the time is not sufficient. Hope you all do what is right and stay out of trouble. But if you don't, its your fault, not anyone elses.
