Grand Jury Returns 24 Open And 26 Sealed Indictments
The Wayne County Grand Jury met Tuesday, January 24th for their regular monthly meeting and returned indictments on 24 individuals and 19 were meth related indictments. There was also 26 sealed indictments.

Open indictments included

Dudley Appleby on two counts of Manufacturing Methamphetamine - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st
Degree.

Samantha Jones was indicted for Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Robert H. Crabtree was indicted for Manufacturing Methamphetamine
and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.

Heather Moreland was indicted for Manufacturing Methamphetamine
and Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree.

Douglas R. Atkinson was indicted for Possession of a Controlled
Substance, 1st Degree (Meth) and Carrying a Concealed Deadly
Weapon.

Stevie Lee Reynolds was indicted for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card
over $100.

Ashley Foster was indicted for Theft by Failure to make Required
Disposition of Property over $500.

Aaron Norrick was indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance,
1st Degree.(Oxycodone)

Paul Sweet and Samantha Carter were each indicted for Manufacturing Methamphetamine - Controlled Substance Endangerment to a Child, 4th Degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Meth). Sweet was also indicted for Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree.

James Gibson was indicted for Assault, 2nd Degree two counts of
Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree.

Chris Barnett and Jamie Shelton were indicted for Manufacturing Methamphetamine and two counts of Controlled Substance
Endangerment to a Child, 4th Degree.

Rhonda Foster and Joe Anderson were indicted for two counts of Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Possession of a Controlled
Substance, 1st Degree (Meth).

David Holloway, Lannie Dobbs, and Christopher Thompson were each
indicted for four counts of Manufacturing Methamphetamine
Possession of Marijuana Possession of a Defaced Firearm and
Possession of a Police Radio. Dobbs and Thompson were also charged
with Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon and Persistent Felony
Offender, 2nd Degree.

Homer Hunley was indicted for Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Tampering With Physical Evidence.

Scott Carrender was indicted for Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.

Dennis Dishman was indicted for three counts of Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Controlled Substance Endangerment to a Child,
4th Degree.

Phillip Gentry and Andrea Neal were indicted for four counts of
Manufacturing Methamphetamine. Gentry was also indicted for
Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.

Daphanie Young was indicted for Escape, 2nd Degree and Persistent
Felony Offender, 2nd Degree.

Of the open indictments - Operation UNITE Detectives presented
evidence on 18 individuals Monticello Police on 3 Fish and Wildlife
on 1 Probation and Parole on 1 and an individual on one person.

Viewers are reminded the indictment by a Grand Jury is an accusation
only and that person is presumed innocent until and unless proven
guilty.
