So, if a person were to rape a child, do you suggest society hold hands and pray for him? I disagree. It is my opinion, that the criminal should be locked in jail and punished for his criminal acts, and while there, you should pray for them. This person did not dispense a couple of pills unlawfully, but by the ad, on page one of this discussion, the amount was 5,000 to 10,000 pills dispersed to the public. Do you see a difference, I do.

I never said he should avoid his punishment. Not once. I said we should not be on here trashing him or judging him. I totally agree that a rapist should be in jail. I also agree they need much prayer. There is only one unforgivable sin and its neither dispensing pills nor rape.

We cannot give up on people just because they made a mistake. They must pay the price for their actions, but if we support them and pray for them, they stand a much better chance to lead a productive life if we trash them. That only leaves a bitter feeling to both the person trashed and the person trashing them. I would hope Mr Daffron can get his life back on track,( and he already may have) and contibute good to our town. Look at the Apostle Paul. He daily delivered Christians up to be either murdered or put in prison. He had a life changing experience on the Damascus road and look what happened to him. I can just see what would be said about him on here if he lived today. Topix users though are the smartest and without sin. God have mercy on your all souls.

All the sewage from Monticello Schools ran through a line that went underneath the downtown area. When they were doing the construction, they found a line around the doughboy that was almost smashed together. That line was a sewage line from Monticello Schools. When the line cracked it sent all the sewage underground and out behind the city pool hall building. I never said that it went from Monticello Schools over a hill and through the woods by the library and such.
Dr. Andrews had people that was not licensed dental workers doing procedures on patients. He also was giving out the pills. There was a lot more to his case.
Judge Not, thank you for your comment. I totally agree with you.
There is no difference.I don't care what your occupation is when you deal drugs you need to pay the price and be treated just the same as any Tom,Dick or Harry. But if you live in Monticello it does matter who you are.I will disagree with until the day that I die, because you are also supporting a drug dealer. That is wrong I don't care which way you look at it,it is WRONG!

In my opinion, he is not getting punished equally to someone else that would commit the crime. That is my belief and I am sticking with it.

I also agree with you on that. But thats not his fault. He was not the judge. That is a thread for the sentencing judge, not Mr Daffron. If you were in his shoes, would you try to lighten your sentence? Think before you answer that. What would you be leaving behind? Especially if you had truly changed your wicked ways?

I have no knowledge of any issues with the Monticello School and it's sewer. If that is the case then OSHA needs to be contacted and we need make sure Monticello School doesn't open up again until it's repaired because doing so will put our children at risk. I will just make sure OSHA knows there might be a problem and Kenneth Catron can explain it to them.
Even IF the cost was $300,000 that was way to much. The building had to be completely remodeled and then even with that had water standing in the basement whenever there would be a hard rain.
Bottom line is I am pissed about the unneeded money lining going on in downtown that is causing my car to get dusty, knocks my front out of alignment, dust so thick it triggers my asthma, upset my allergies, makes me miserable, and causes my hometown look as if it belongs in the 1800s. I will let NO issue rest as a result. I hope "whitey" is prepared because I can write letters, make phone calls, whatever I need to do for as many hours as I need to. Kenneth Catron demonstrated disrespect for me and I will do my very best to make certain he knows that I do not forget nor do I rest.
this sounds like a personal vendetta. here is all i know.. even though i never voted for Mayor Catron,(republican/constition party) even as a small child, in the old Wal-Mart, Mayor Catron struck up conversation with me and was friendly, i wasn't old enough to vote, and i was filthy from working on the farm... he showed no guile or ill will toward me... being from the county it never won him any votes... and i'm sure from the looks of me he knew i wasn't a town kid... Mayor Catron is a Mason and a good man. period. as for downtown, it is a mess... but it needs to be done. yeah it is like labor pains everytime i try to go to the bank, but they are trying to bring vitality back to our home town. as far as gregory winning all the bids to do the work all i can say is someone step up to the plate and out bid him..

I am SICK & TIRED of reading posts from "Judge Not."

NOBODY needs your shallow lectures on religion. You are a "Topix Frequent" just like everyone else on this message board.

Everyone just wants to talk about this issue, without being subject to your ignorant posts.
YOU are broadcasting YOUR OWN ignorance.

Since you show SO MUCH support for Mr. Daffron and his narcotic black market, I hope that you REAP WHAT YOU SEW. LoL.

I PERSONALLY hope every single one of your kids get hooked on Oxycontin, which has been made so readily available to them, by Dan Daffron and his brother Steven Daffron, since thats what you support- PILLS ON THE STREETS OF MONTICELLO.

Thats what you deserve. Evidently u think that the threat of this drug epidemic does not include you, because you sit around beating religion into everyone's brains on these silly message boards.

The entire daffron family has been caught with their hands in the cookie jar (the oxycontin/tylox bottle) TIME and TIME again. And ignorant backwoods bible beaters like yourself continue to support them.

Cant you people think for yourself? Get a mind of your own. It gets old, living amongst people like "JUDGE NOT"... They say "JUDGE NOT JUDGE NOT"... but they are the FIRST people to point their fingers at the WRONG people. Supporting Danny Daffron's Drug Ring- What a class act "JUDGE NOT"... You really are brilliant.

Do you not believe or follow the bible? I am not being smart with you, I just have to know where you stand on this.

As for saying you hope my kids gets hooked on pills. That shows everyone what we are dealing with here. Now lets hear the answers to the questions I have asked above.

lady marlin it is not steven daffron it is Stephen daffron and for your information every drugstore in town dispenses oxycontin and tylox. you know that and once it is dispensed then it is sold on the streets to people like you. you evidently are not a christian or you would not say things like I hope every single one of your kids get hooked on oxycontin. I know steve and i know that he has his life straightened out. While you sit on here bashing someone Steve is out trying to help people. Danny did not get money for those pills and he has paid 30,000.00 in fines and lost his livelihood. so he has not gotten off scot free and i applaud kenneth catron and greg rankin for standing up for someone they believe in.

These people meo who say things like this are bound for a place that burns hot just for them. They are so ignorant that they have no idea what they are even saying. They are blinded by their own lustful twisted take on justice and satan rules their world just as he rules the drug dealers world. They both, these like Lady Marlin and all the unsaved will both burn together with satan in Hell. Bottom Line. Signed Bible Thumper.

I'll meet a better fate than Dan Daffron, I can promise you that.:) I don't have to carry the burden of being a facilitator in this never ending war on drugs. I have not personally distributed 10,000 pills to the people of Monticello.(Although I HAVE wished that fate upon those who support drug trafficking and the illegal distribution of narcotics)

"Lady Marlins Nightmare" is exactly the type of person that I was referencing in the above post.. yet ANOTHER Backwoods Bible Beater!

Reap what you sew! I will reap what I have sewn and I expect everyone else to do the same.

I have some information of my own for you two!
"True Christians" don't "JUDGE" others, "JUDGE NOT" (and "Lady M Nightmare") so while all you "Christians" are trying to play God by JUDGING ME- I am sitting here confused by all of your twisted contradicting statements in regards to RELIGION (which I specifically asked not to be discussed).

For Your Information- I Believe in God. I've been submersed in baptism. I am very comfortable with my relationship with God.[NOT THAT ITS ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS]:)

All I have to say is Mayor Catron is a good person and Mayor. Greg I don't really know but seems ok. And as far as Dan Daffron goes he is a good person. He might have gotten into a lil trouble but my opinion on that is he got left holding the bag. So Dan, Kenneth and Greg go on do your thing and pee on all these people trash talking.

Mr.Catron & Mr.Rankin could have stood by Mr.Daffron as personal friends but as elected officals to support a drug dealer now come on they should of been smarter than to of got involved in that one. It shows what our city/county goverment is standing up for!!!

You want answers. Here they are, plain and simple.

"If you were in his shoes, would you try to lighten your sentence? Think before you answer that. What would you be leaving behind? Especially if you had truly changed your wicked ways?"

My Answer
I would not ever be in Mr. Daffron's shoes in the first place. I am not consumed by greed (or whatever his supposed motive was). I dont feel the need to commit federal felonies, in order to make a profit. Drugs destroy families and I think we are all aware of that. I dont feel the need to destroy families, for personal financial gain.

So you are saying that his ways were "wicked"??? I thought all of you people support his ways? I apologize, but I'm strugglin to make heads or tails of all these contradictive messages that you all post.
