Murder warrants have been issued for two brothers from Albany in Clinton County.

The two men are wanted in connection to the death of 73-year-old James F. Perdue. State Police units responded to a residence on Perdue Road in rural Clinton County near the Wayne County line on Wednesday. Perdue was found dead at his residence by a friend at approximately 4:30 PM CST. Details of the investigation are not being released at this time and the cause of death will be determined following an autopsy scheduled for later Friday at the State Medical Examiner's office in Frankfort.

The suspects are 33-year-old Phillip M. Robert of South Monticello, who is a 6'3", 245 pound, white male with blue eyes and brown hair. His brother, 38-year-old Thomas A. Roberts, also of South Monticello, is a 5'9", 155 pound, white male with brown eyes and brown hair. The two brothers are believed to be in a 2000 black Chevy S-10 with damage on the driver side of the vehicle. The Kentucky registration number is 802-MXV. The direction of travel is unknown. The two men should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. If anyone has contact with these men, contact local law enforcement at 911 or the Kentucky State Police at 1-800-222-5555

maybe we should all let god worry about this. i agree we have a right to know but take a step back on both sides of the fence, if this was ur family would u want everyone and ther brother talkin about you or your family. i can answer that honestly for you, NO. we never understand why things happen but until the story is told right and truthfully lets no speculate just yet on whether they r guilty. they need prayers as well as the victims family more than they need the gossip. wouldnt be so funny if we had to hear poeple talk about our situations, would it. remember GOD takes care of everything. so i think right now we need to leave it in his hands and pray for the families. good luck to everyon involved.

Can't really think of any reason that I should feel sorry for a couple of healthy able bodied young men who felt the need to break into the home of an ederly sick man and beat him to death. There really is no acceptable excuse. I agree that God will judge them but I'm afraid it will take me awhile to forgive this senseless act. I will say that I am thankful beyond words that no one else was hurt that day.
