I heard the horse had a broke leg and was having to be put down. I hope this isn't true but I wouldn't want it to suffer either.

The horse isn't suffering because of the broke leg. That's just what people do if a horse's leg or foot get's hurt. They put them down, because the surgery cost too much and the horse will never be able to be rode the same way again. It's kinda sad. Would you want to be killed if your broke your leg?

Sometimes it is kinder to our beloved animals to but them down HUMANELY than to allow them months and months of suffering. Horses have 4 legs and require them for proper balance and if one or more is injured, their ability to function normallly and properly is inhibited. Not to mention risk of infections when bones have been broken. No, I don't think people need to be "killed" if they have a broken leg. We as humans are fortunate to have crutches and wheelchairs, etc, our animal friends haven't gotten that yet. Yes, in a way it may seem cruel, but in the end, we realize that our animals are not allowed to be suffering. Sometimes i really think we humans get selfish and try to keep our pets no matter what because we would be sad if they died. But in the end, we must realize that we have saved them from unnecessary pain and suffering. And yes it is sad......

sorry to tell this but no it was not anyone from woodmark. I heard in kroger yesterday that it was mitchell. A supervisor from woodmark was following him when it happened. Mitchell passed the man right before he hit the horse.

Maybe hitting the horse will remind Mr. Hoover how precious life is and he won't be so hateful to his employees that work at Kroger. No need to be mean to others. No, I don't work there but I've heard how he talks to some of them. Do unto others. Sorry about the horse.

I spoke to John Hodge and asked him and he told me that it was not him that he was following the person in his van and also I heard on the scanner the morning that it happen when the officer asked dispatch if the plate number came back to a person with the last name Hoover and the dispatch said 10 4 and I do believe that means yes. Either way I hope this will make people slow down and be more careful. I hate that the horse had to be put down.

Hoover was not driving fast. you ever think that maybe he wasnt doing anything wrong, and that maybe something was in the road that shouldnt have been there... LIKE A DAMN HORSE??? I guess if a deer runs out if front of you, its your fault too huh? You dont have to be driving fast to hit an animal that comes outta no where and runs out in front of your vehicle. You bunch of stupid sh!t heads.
