What in the world are you talking about? Someone loved one has died. Somewhere people are heart broken over this young man. This is uncalled for.

That comment was truly uncalled for. We were having a good time yesterday when this horrible accident occured. Brennan Thomas was a wonderful person and a joy to be around. He will be missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure to meet him. Please keep your rude comments to yourself and let us greive in peace. Please be careful on the water, this could happen to anyone.

I just wanted to apologize for the cruel comment above. I am so ashamed and embarrassed that we have people like that living in this area. There are idiots everywhere, Monticello just seems to have more than its share. I am so sorry for your loss.

Thank you very much. I just really want to stress that everyone needs to be careful! all Brennan did was go down a houseboat slide, something we've all done a million times, and now his parents will have to live everyday without him. It really makes you think about all the stupid things we do on the water and after losing people every year on the lake it is time that we respect our lives and not take advantage of them. If i never have to see the amount of pain that I saw his parents eyes again I would be thankful and I will not put my parents through that if there is anything I can do about it. It just really puts things into perspective for you and makes you realize how valuable our precious lives are. Please be careful out there everyone, if not for yourself, for your family.
well

Why does everytime something that happens to good people other people see it as payback for some kind of evil someone has committed? My heart goes out to the family and the ones that loved him. Please, please if you have nothing godd to say in someones time of sorrow, donn't say anything. They donn't need anymore added to their load and keep your opinions to yourself.

I would like to say to the family of this young man that I am very sorry to hear this. It is sad when someone passes away, especially when the parents are right there and there is nothing anyone can do to help. I pray that God will comfort you and you will find peace. He was so young. God Bless this family. Please, pray for comfort and peace. Turn to God, He knows best!!
