I can't believe I did this to my hands. I have tried bleach, peroxide, lemon juice, even an SOS pad. Nothing seems to take out the black walnut stains from my hands.

Be careful with the Magic Eraser. It is abrasive and can change the surface characteristics, but it does clean well.

Right, be careful not to rub the finish off.

I tried every single thing mentioned up above, except for the chemical wood whitener. Nothing worked. I will sadly have to agree with the folks who said it will have to wear off with time.

In the woodturning hobby, we use green Black walnut logs, which stain the hands black. I use "wood whitener," aka "deck whitener." It's active ingredient is oxalic acid, which neutralizes iron (based) stains. Black walnut must be an iron based stain, because the Black walnut stain disappears like magic. However, it must leave a stain residue, because if one stains and neutralizes one's hands repeatedly, they seem to retain more and more stain, and removal becomes less and less complete. Not that I recommend using such harsh chemicals on one's skin routinely. If used occasionally, oxalic acid in wood whitener removes the Black walnut stain very effectively.
I read where u use lemon juice n rub into hands, rinse then cooking oil n rub into hands than soap n water
