Identified as Red Admiral. Well known across the Northern Hemisphere, but not common to our yard.
See on average one butterfly per year, for only 1-2 days, then they are gone. Very shy, and extremely fast moving! They fly quickly like a bird and don't sit still for long. Once scared, say good-bye. In Montgomery, Texas this flying flower is hard to see. |
