The rich people sure have a lot of non-rich suckers fighting for them. Some people are just fools. I say that the rich should fight their own battles. Why are all these working-class stiffs fighting for the greedy people who don't care about them? You pointed out how CEOs are getting rich. What about the average worker? Nothing.<quoted text>
Right...can't pay those CEO's their 800% wage increase, hand out bonuses with stimulus money and pay workers a decent wage...off to Chine.
It's never enough with these corporations. Remember the time when there wasn't a delivery charge for pizza delivery? These companies were making enough money, but it's never enough. They want more and more. It's just funny that most the people who stick up for these corporations are barely making it.
The U.S. has some of the worst Internet speeds in the developed world, but people are paying a premium for those terrible speeds. They also can't wait to "nickle and dime" customer with their data caps. Pathetic. Yet there are fools who will fight for their rights to be price gouged by the rich.
I don't blame corporations. If they can get these fools to vote against their own best interests, why not do it? The bottom line is this: If you aren't making at least $100,000, you shouldn't be a Republican(unless you are a religious nutjob).
I'm a proud independent. I could just as easily rant about the Democratic party, but at least the people voting for the Democratic party aren't voting against their own financial best interests.
