OK first off guys im tired of this shit. This is Zach Jones the guy that was in the wreck with Tori Coolman and shane james. Retired marshall and TORI who is on here tryin to give sob stories about herself which is a fucking Joke. Yea i remember your screen name from high school tori try changing it. Now first off the night we wrecked we were supplied with a fifth of whiskey from Tori herself. We were actually riding with her down the coon trail in her vehichle before we ever got in the vehichle with shane and may i add we were drunk the whole time. SO little tori is not innocent it could of happened while she was driving she was just lucky it didnt. And Shane does not smoke pot anymore since people want to spread rumors about it i would be willing to put my life on it he can pass a drug test at anytime and i know because he is always with me and my son and do you think i would let him around if he still smoked? NO so learn your facts before you start bad mouthing people. ANd you want to know something else ask tori about the guy she has been messing with and he status with the police? Jonathan Vincett and that should explain every answer you need to know about the drug use sitiuation. The coolman's need to learn their place in society they are no better than anyone else...everyone is equal im tired of how people rank their selves in montgomery on the fact of what they can get away with. I have grew up with tori my whole life and was always friends with her. Hell i saved her life after the wreck and you know the thank you i got for saving her life? The thanks i got for spending days at the hospital calling and checking on her every day going to visit almost everyday? THe thanks i got from Tori and her family was to lose her number and forget she existed....now you tell me how ungrateful this family is...you save their daughters life...you save her life and all they have to say to you is lose my number and forget i exist...you can say what you want but i know how crooked and ungrateful that family is..remember ive been around them since kindergarten...so trust me i know
Well I just knew Lil Bit was Tori??? I am glad that Mr. Jones & Mr. James are different people since the accident and have gained education and grown because of this incident. I agree with Mr. Jones that there is no one that is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. I commend both of you! I also do not take offense at the statements of "Hillbilly Heaven" in which he considers me to be a "rambling idiot". When people do not have the education or common sense to interpret comments, then those comments would appear as "ramblings" to that person. Do not feel bad, there are many like you in the world today. Hopefully, time and age will be your friend and you will gain some educational values as you go along. I am sure that Mr. James wishes that he could go back in time and change everything about the morning of the accident. I know that if he could possibly take it back...he would! No one ever "plans" on having an accident however, they do happen daily and they cost a lot of people a lot of different things that they have to pay for in one way or another.
I have never thought of Mr. James as a "monster" as Mr. Jones commented. He is just a kid that unintentionally made a bad mistake. However, when we play in this game of life, it has its pitfalls and everyone suffered losses and will have to pay for their part for years to come. I disagree with Mr. Jones assumption that we would like to see Mr. James in jail! Jail will not allow Mr. James to be able to meet his obligations of the court. Jail should only be a tool to assure that Mr. James pays for his part of what the court deemed he owed. If he refuses to meet his financial obligations while he is out on probation, then the use of jail time would be used to show that the court is serious. I am glad and commend Mr. James and Mr. Jones that they are not the same people that they were the morning of the accident. I am glad that they are turning their lives around. However, Shane cannot go through the rest of his life avoiding the courtís orders of fines and restitution.
One thing about the court order, if true, does not sound correct to me. It has been stated that the court is ordering 80% of Mr. James's wages be garnished. I know from my own experience that this should be untrue. After a divorce, I was ordered to pay a specific amount of Child Support. However, the State of Louisiana has a law that only allows 25% of someoneís wages to be garnished. I believe that law is still in affect. If I were Mr. James, I would definitely look into this matter. No one can live and support themselves on 20% of their wages. That is absurd! Additionally, when filling out an application for employment, I would leave the question of being charged with a felony "blank". If that is important to the people you are trying to go to work for, they will surely bring that subject up in your interview and then you have the chance to comment and explain one on one. I understand that there are many people from this area that are working "turn arounds". This would be a great opportunity for Mr. James and his boss would be someone local and would understand the problem that he has. I wish everyone concerned in this matter; the best of luck and hopefully all will grow and learn how quickly a life can be changed due to a simple few minutes of making a mistake. We all have made mistakes in life and had to pay for the consequences of those mistakes in one way or the other. Mr. James is not the only one to ever have to go through this type of incident.
Hopefully, this will enlighten some people from thinking that we simply wanted to "dump" on Mr. James. That for certain was not our intentions and all of my comments were in answer to someone elseís questions or opinions. In fact this comment thread started out as an answer to "why does it matter" when he was wondering about the constables duties and power of office. My wishes are hopefully; all of this will end well for everyone concerned.

To RetardedMarshall I don't take offense to you saying I don't have the education or common sense to understand your rambling ignoramous posts. But I'll have you to know I do have a College Education and I think it is funny that you think you have to educate people everytime you post something on here.
You do act like Shane is the bad guy in almost all your posts and Tori is the innocent little angel, but everybody in that truck that morning had made mistakes and decisions that would effect the rest of their lives. Why should Shane or Zach pay for a decision Tori made that morning for getting boozed up and in Shanes truck. Yes Tori got the bad end of the situation but it was her decision to put herself in that cituation. Her actions since that day has showed that she or her parents haven't learned nothing, she still out gettin boozed and her parents let her drive, drink, whatever she wants. It is not only dangerous for her but others on the road. I hope she gets the help she needs to get over her conditions but Shane didn't do this to her. She did it to herself for getting in that truck that morning.

I am proud that Hillbilly Heaven was lucky enough to gain a college education. I believe the more education we have, the better decision maker we become. However, there is no substitute for having the correct amount of "common sense" that actually activates and makes the educational part a vital instrument in our hands. I also have a college degree and 4 years of Criminal Justice education. On top of that, there are numerous courses and academies that I was required to pass and be certified in. Most of those certifications come around yearly for the safety of the officer and the public. Additionally, there are always new and revised laws that are made legal year after year. I am relieved now that I know Mr. Hillbilly Heaven does in fact have a college education. Since all of that matter is resolved, we can get out of the "penis swinging contest" and understand that we should respectivly agree on the comments we agree on and agree to disagree with those we are in opposition of. I have never put "wings" on Ms. Coolman or stated that she can fly. I know of the James family and know that there are some great people on that side. However, it just so happens that I have been a friend of the Coolman family for 40 plus years. All three of the kids made mistakes that morning. It just so happens that Shane got the short end of the stick because he was the driver at the time of the accident. Without a doubt, any of the three kids could have been the driver that morning. With everything that they done, all three should have been home instead of drinking, partying and driving.Even if I did not know any of the actors in this incident, even if they would have been 3 kids from Baton Rouge, the facts of the case would still be the same. Whoever was driving drunk at the time of the accident is the responsible party for his passengers. It matters not to the case if Mr. Jones and Ms. Coolman were too drunk to make a correct decision and not get in and ride with someone driving drunk, the impaired party that had control of the vehicle will always be the one responsible if an accident occurs. That is why they push so hard to make sure when you are drinking, that you have a designated driver. My thoughts on the accident would still be the same if Mr. Jones would have been driving drunk or Ms. Coolman would have been the party responsible by being in control of the vehicle! The aftermath of this terrible accident left all three of the kids injured in some way. Some with greater injuries than the others. Even if Mr. Jones and Ms. Coolman had not recieved any injuries at all and Mr. James was driving impaired and he would have expired from the accident, he would still be the responsible person for the accident. The facts are the facts and are governed by the Laws of the State of Louisiana. It is not Mr. Jones or Ms. Coolman that are guilty by the laws of the State. Whoever, had control of the vehicle that morning at the time of the accident is deemed the responsible party. Personally, I wish that the accident had never happened because it has left physical, financial and emotional scars on all three of our hometown kids.I will never believe that anyone out of the three would have intentionally cause harm to the others. Additionally, we can count our own self extremely lucky that none of us have faced that situation. I remember being their age and doing the same things that these 3 Montgomery kids did. We were just lucky enough not to have had an accident or hurt one of our friends. So it is not like these three friends were out doing something no one else has ever done!

Also, I do not feel that I have to "educate" everyone in my comments. However, I have been in Law Enforcement all my life and worked in a great number of different State Offices. I do feel comfortable answering many things that pertain to my vocation. "HillBilly Heaven", I do not know what your college degree is for or what vocation you are in, but I am sure you would be more qualified to comment and answer questions on this forum if it were to pertain to your job. I would definitely yield the floor and listen with respect to your comments, even if I did not agree, I would automatically give you the benefit of doubt. I have readily admitted, in some of my comments on Topix, that I was not a scholar of certain questions others have posted. However, in the spirit of discussion I feel everyone should have an "open microphone" in order to not only comment or express your personal feelings, but to also listen to the remarks, comments and conclusions of others as they post their thoughts.

I am sorry RetiredMarshall if I insulted your inteligence in anyway. I see that you are well qualified to make the statements that you have made. But as you have known the Coolman Family for 40 plus years I have known the James Family for 40 plus years and have known the Coolmans for nearly 20 years. Your right about it being Shane's Responsibility because he was driving and he should help with the hospital bills once he does find employment. I am like you, I don't think any court would force him to pay 80% of his pay though. But I don't agree with making Tori sound so bad off when she is out driving around going places on her own and doing whatever she wants. If she was in such bad shape why is this possible. She just made a bad decision and the consequences of her and her friends actions are something they will have to live with for the rest of their lives. This will be my last post on this subject because I certainly DO NOT WANT to get into a "penis swinging contest" with RetiredMarshall, I just don't swing that way. LOL

Zack, u know how this town is. People will say what they want and things they know nothing abt. Luckily u know the Shane that had to deal with hurting Tori. And I agree, he is being punished so hard that he can't better himself. it's not cute for people to come on here 1 sided when lil tori drives around and wrecks and the cops dont even get called and 1st responders were turned away bc they didnt want anybody to know. Her injuries never would've happened if she hadn't been in the vehicle. Everyone is always looking for a way to point the blame when something like this happens! Maybe if they weren't babying her bc of her 'injuries' she wouldn't still be out doing things like she is! I mean who drinks and does drugs after their lives were spared? Thats pathetic! but... that's probably just thought of as a 'rumor' or somebody else's fault as well. Retired Marshall... u should be makin the big bucks with your smart self... u know EVERYTHING! wow!

"OOH MY" I have made my "big bucks" and resting now. I deserve it, although I do go back and help out on certain cases. The U.S. Marshal's are a lean group today. A U.S. Marshal is hired by the President of the United States. I have heard rumors that I feel have merit that President Obama will be hiring 800 U.S. Marshals either this year or next. Can't prove it, but just a pretty good rumor from a reliable source.
I appreciate your sarcasm that "I know Everything" I certainly do not rise to that occasion as that is so far from the truth you'd have to have binoculars. However, I do have knowledge of the wreck that hurt Tori. I have talked with the State Trooper that worked the wreck. I talked with the Supervisor of the State Police that was also on the scene that night. A State Police Supervisor is usually not on the scene of an accident unless there is a fatality. His words to me were that they expected Tori to die, thus his reason for being called to the scene. I know about the hospitals and the surgeries and the injuries. I read your posts about how she is "faking" all this. If that's true, then it is a $1,000,000.00 prank. That's the price tag for medical so far. Am I prejudice? I will not lie, the Coolman's are my friends. I wish none of the three had been involved that night, but you can't say she deserves the blame for being in the truck drunk like all three of them. There's a legal, fair process for that...the DRIVER IS RESPONSIBLE. I do not want Tori to suffer anymore. I do not want Shane to suffer anymore or Zack either. But what was done caused pain and suffereing in different ways for all of them.
But Thanks darling for commenting that I was smart, I just wish I could find the money you are talking about. I would share!
