No double tax for 911 service
Last week the Yorkville City Council unanimously adopted a resolution opposing proposed changes to a long-standing intergovernmental agreement relating to the funding of Kendall County's 911 emergency dispatch agency, KenCom.

Isn't Oswego bigger than all of those agencies? Why don't they have their own dispatch?

Many towns share a dispatch service, I would think it would save money to share the service. What I don't understand is why unincorporated areas wouldn't have to pay more as well? The sheriffs office is dispatched by Kencom isn't it?
