I would love to see a Thai place open. Like Vino Thai. It would be nice to have restaurants like in Geneva and St.Charles. Not the chain stuff but smaller independant places that have wonderful food, with a menu that changes each week. Has anyone been the Zsa Zsa's in St. Charles? Those type of places.

I agree 100%. Who doesn't love non-chain resturants? I would love it if Front Street Cantina came to O-town or how about a nice resturant like Wildfire? I know they'd never come to Oswego, but why not a resturant concept like that. It would be nice to be able to take your relatives or anyone you bring in town on business out to a nice resturant but all we have to choose from is Chilis, Red Robin, Friday's and Applebees which, in my opinion, are all the same resturant. Same food, similar price points, Robin being the best of the litter.

With the economy, we might be needing a soup kitchen.

Golden Correl would be good, was just in KY and ate there.. Great food great price.

Outback, Red Lobster, Olive Garden. Over Priced, poor quality of food!! I won't eat at any of them.

If were looking for something nice
How about something like Ruth Chris, Lowry's, Gibson's, Hugo's Frog Bar, Morton's, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., even Cheesecake Factory..

Olive Garden is overpriced? Don't think so, but I do agree with the poor food quality.

Bubba Gump Shrimp would never come to a suburban town. It is a tourist restaurant. Same thing with Cheesecake. In fact Naperville has been trying to get a Cheesecake for years and haven't been able to sign a contract.

The rest are extremely expensive, for this market, steakhouses. I'd say an On the Boarder, Red Lobster, & Carrabbas fit the Oswego market. A Mccormick and Schmidt would be a nicer steakhouse/seafood restaurant that would also be a great fit for Oswego as they are not super expensive.

Hooters was denied by Oswego, thus Buffalo Wild Wings was born.
