Isn't it funny how some events linger in a persons mind long after the event happened, images that stick in the mind that are refreshed by certain triggers that instantly recall from memory some event in the past.
The recent article about how John Boehner, republican Speaker of the House, was"Purging Conservatives From Committees"was one of those triggering events.
The recent article about John Boehner removing conservatives from committees also made us question whether John Boehner was, in reality, a RINO/establishment republican after all his posturing to the contrary and was just showing his true colors.
Recent Pictures taken of John Boehner with Obama in what appparently was a cozy relationship between them brought back memories of how John Boehner was received when he became Speaker of the House by the democrat party officials.
For instance how when John Boehner first became speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi congratulated him with these words,"God Bless you John Boehner,"I thought for a moment that Nancy was going to lay hands on big John, her emotions being so strong and getting the better of her.
I have to admit it was heart-warming and tugged at the heart strings. why, it was almost like Tiny Tim in Charles Dicken's _"A CHRISTMAS CAROL"when he said to everyone present,"God Bless Us, Every One."
Then there was the picture on TV of John Boehner and Obama sitting side-by-side at a table and John affectionally patting Obama on the arm with a knowing grin and somehow the lyrics of a old song came to mind, "Climb upon my knee, Sonny boy"
Climb up on my knee Sonny Boy Though you're only three Sonny Boy You've no way of knowing There's no way of showing What you mean to me Sonny Boy" ...Sonny boy"AL JOLSON.
Now we are beginning to see the "Big picture" of What the situation in Washington really is and where the conservatives stand with the republican party leadership, conservatives/ Tea Party members, take note!
