State lacks funds for $200 million of Dept. of Education requests
MONTGOMERY, Alabama -- State Superintendent Thomas Bice presented to the Legislature today a $4.1 billion budget request, seeking a $405.5 million funding increase from fiscal 2013.

I think it's sad that Alabama still hold a slavery history in their capital state. I personal feel that Alabama need to grow up. The governor isn't doing nothing to hrlo the people's. The lottery will help are school system a lot. Montgomery Alabama is out of. Pocket ..... SAD
