I would wager that many districts in NW and NC Kansas are continuing to lose students. The smaller towns in many of those counties are rapidly losing population in every direction and aging out. The population of the Great Plains is very mobile, and the young people will move to where a good diversified range of job opportunities exist.

TM, you need to stfu. You and avenger are one and the same. I think that you either need to admit that you are one, or just give it up.

The differences between rural NW and NC Kansas and SW Kansas are quite stark. The populations for most counties in NW Kansas have already fallen by over 10% just since this decade began. 1/4 of the population in many of these counties is over age 65. School districts are in consolidation mode, and jobs are few. However, the population density in these areas are now in line with the natural resources (water) that exist in these areas. The only reason why SW Kansas has not seen the same decline is because of the extremely high birthrate which is comparable to Utah counties, and southern US border counties.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Cancer

You feel the urge to move onward, powered by your wisdom: when you're right, you're right. You may feel that any further explanation is unnecessary, but the people you're dealing with might need it spelled out for them. Take the time to draw a picture or use smaller vocabulary words to get your point across, Cancer. A public demonstration will probably prove to be the last word on the subject.
