How many more young people are going to have to die before something is done about the doctors that hand out pills to them like candy? How many people do you know that are dying everyday over drugs do you want to watch this or help do something about where they come from doctors are killing people sure as anything.

How about drug manufactories? Are we being ruled by them? The ones that make them and the ones that work for the drug companies, they push them to sell, sell, sell, get them hooked we most likely have them for life, greed for money and control is my opinion. Can we take back our country that is being ruled by the love of money?

Are you for real? Being on drugs is a choice that each individual makes themselves!I have not heard of one doctor or pharmacist making or selling meth.If everyone were accountable for their own actions instead of pushing the blame on someone else, this world would be a better place. My parents always told me I had better not come home and say someone made me do anything unless they physically made me do something because I would get my tail whipped for what ever I did because I knew better! They believed in putting the blame where the blame layed!ex:that doctor shouldnt have given you that medication for coughing because he should have foreseen that you would make some kind of illegal drugs out of it.Give all of us non drug ABUSING people a break, you do it because you LIKE IT!
PLEASE

Look if you went to a doctor a few years ago and they gave you a pill scrip you had trust in your doctor so you think he is helping you ok and then you get addicted to it of course you go back for more and now a days they will give you damn pain pills for a sore toe so now who started the abuse .

I do not believe you get addicted from 1 perscription of medecine, if you take them as perscribed.Like I said before, put the blame where it Lays!If you accidentally got addicted you would seek help, if not, keep drugging and blameing other people!

I don't think anyone intends to get addicted to drugs.I have seen people that do get on drugs the first time they use them.

If your perscription says "take 1 tablet, 3 times a day. that means 1 tablet, 3 times a day, not 3 tablets 3 times a day. Of course if you take some kind of illegal drug, you will get addicted to it, Im not saying that you cant get addicted but I AM saying if you dont ENJOY being addicted, GET HELP!Dont blame everyone else. Use common sense when takeing medication! If the perscription is for John Doe, then Jane Doe should not take it!!!!!!!!How Hard Is That?

Drug manufactouries and drug dealers have got to accept part of the blame, we have been lied to forever, a new drug comes out and it is a miracle drug, if we believe what the adveritisers tell us. You take someone that is so depressed and no longer want to live and they are presented with a pill that will take it all away, I've been there. In the end a lot of it is just lies to get you hooked and get your money and then after you get in so deep you have to end up selling to get your fix. A vicious cycle.

Whatever you are very lucky if this problem has not come up with your family and friends. But some people are not so blessed and it has tore their families apart.

So you want to blame teachers, doctors, policemen, and nurses? GIVE ME A BREAK!!!! Are you kidding me?
Pain is subjective. That means there is really no way to actually measure it. Now it is true ones blood pressure may increase, one may grimace, or become more restless with pain or maybe not. It is subjective. One may have a high tolerance to pain or a low tolerance to pain.
If you break a bone, one can expect pain. An analgesic is expected to decrease, not erase, pain. This is to prevent other complications related to decreased mobility related to the fracture.
People need to take responsibility for their own actions. If a prescription says 3 times a day as needed for pain, that's what it means. It does not say as needed for a desired high, or to sell for supplemental income. WAKE UP. Take responsibility for your actions. Raise your children. Get a job, even though it doesn't pay as much as unemployment.
If you think I have not had family and friends with this problem, you are wrong. If you think I am cold hearted, you are wrong. You are only hurting them by lying to them and ignoring the problem.
I am sorry that a family is hurt and someone list their life, but that was their choice.

Have you ever tried to help someone get off of drugs it is not that easy.I'm sorry for all the young people on drugs and yes they can and will get them no matter what but I also agree doctors don't make this easy.I changed my doctor because he hands out to many pain pills he wanted me to take pain pills and I refused and we argued about it so I got another doctor so yes we have alot of doctors in it for the money don't know how they sleep at nite.

The one thibg we all have POWER over is our sense of or lack of personal responsibility. "Learned helplessness" was not anywhere near this prevalent before the rehab-industry sprung up.

I have family members who are currently on drugs, alcoholics, and born disabled,What aggravates the crap out of me is, the ones who purposly take drugs are more dependant on them than the ones who were born needing them to survive. The difference is the truly handicapped ( i didnt say mental) tries to go without the pain meds that they need so they can overcome something they were born with and the DRUGGIES just keep wanting more to take,I refuse to enable people who take drugs for a quick fix or just to sell and make extra money!I think there should be a 1 Strike and you are going to jail for a long time policy. This would definitely rehabilitate them.by the way, look at the word in reH A B I li T ate! Get the Picture?

I think we are often blinded by our love. Drugs turn our brothers, sisters, best friends, children, spouses and even parents into people we no longer no. They become thieves, liars, adulterous partner, abusive and neglective. Because of our love we don't see or want to see it. We try to help, but end up enabling. The people that love that person addicted end up hurt and heart broken. The addict doesn't. Why would they? They have their high and everyone picking up the pieces for them- bills, kids, rent $, bail $, lawyer fees, the list goes on.
