what the hell stupid bitch. no reason why that should ever happen there are to many people who would gladly look after you baby and you pets if you leave them in a burning hot automobile. you should have to sit as the baby did only for longer and strapped down so you do not get out sense little ones are not able to get out with out some one helping them get out. hope you dream of being so hot you are not able to breathe and you want water and no one is there to get it for you just suffer you stupid pile of wasted space bitch.

Sam is a good girl who made a very bad mistake. I'm sure since everybody on topix is perfect they won't understand that right? Not defending what she did but I'm sure she feels horrible already without this added to the list.

I'm not perfect, but most women, and she is not a girl, knows better to leave any living thing in a hot car with the windows rolled up! A good mother protects their children from any harm. Thank God a passerby noticed or the baby may have died. EVERYONE in the world knows not to leave any baby unattended for a second. You don't have to be perfect to have common sense.

If she actually did that, she needs punishment and the kids given to someone that will take good care of them.

People are decent in cookeville, harsh words towards her are not helping this matter. Our Creator will sorts things out with the love and affection we are all blessed with. For whom are we to judge. The laws of Tennessee will prevail in the most righteous and perhaps even in a forgiving way. May God bless all.

Most people would give more thought to the ice cream they purchased at the store. Think about it, would you leave your ice cream sitting in a hot car? Now think about a baby - got it?

Good thought about the ice cream. Think about this too: the parents that don't take their kids anywhere with them, leave them home alone and have left them with druggies, crack hoes, smoke pot, do meth, drive and drink with their kids, and more in front of them. Allow sex predators to babysit and friends and neighbors know what is happening in the child's life. Yet no one wants to get involved. Samanatha is a good mother who made a bad judgement. People need to get involved for the kids too that their parents make bad judgements everyday.

Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain but it takes character and self control to be understanding and forgiving.

I do it all the time, just leave the kid with some cold gatorade and a ice cube and they can last for hours.

This is a serious matter, and I absolutely adore children but there have been times I couldn't do everything, but I did the best I could, raising children is a 24/7 job a hard one at that, there is so much pressure on parents today and so much evil out there. Instead of condeming, lend a hand. Not saying anyone shouldn't be punshied if they mistreat a little one.

Maybe it was His will for her to leave the child in the car so it could die and the passerby is an agent of Satan and screwed it all up. There us nothing He may not ask of thee.

I was helping my handicap brother pay for rent. I have been taking care of him for the past year. I also had my 3ry old with me I took her in with me. I wasnít even in there for 10mins. It was 9am in the morning and it wasnít even 76 outside. I was able to see the car. I parked under a tree, I have childrenís window protects on my car, and I had just turned the car off from having the air on high. My son had just fallen asleep and didnít want to wake him and he was still asleep when I went back. Any mother will tell you itís had to handle two children, plus helping someone else understand what heís signing. Yes, this was a simple and stupid mistake. But I donít deserve this and I have a lot to loss. My job is going to fire me and I graduate from nursing school in 3weeks and I canít have this on my record. They didnít arrested me, the cop understood what I was doing and let me go. Someone else saw the paper work and made a warrant. I turned myself in 45mins after they called. At, least my family, friends, and church are supportive and praying and hoping everything turns out for me.
