Monterey residents upset over permanent fencing proposal

The Monterey City Council wants to put a permanent fence around the iconic locomotive at Dennis the Menace Park in Monterey after it failed to meet safety standards.

stupid people, just close the figgin park, bubble wrap the kids and hand out ribbons for 3rd 4th and 5th place. kids fall down, getbumps bruses and cuts. it is part of life. quit taking all the good things away.
the train is the only thing left at the park that is cool to play on. You fun police need to goose step right out of here. go play with a chainsaw or something
