Adam--and how can you deem, the multitude that represented every known race and nation at the time a single race?
HughBe--- I have not done that. Each group of people have had their own religion. Go back to the time of Moses and tell me that the various peoples did not have their own gods. After which trace it over the centuries.
As cultured as the Greeks were they too had their Greek gods. I have even been called a Greek god in my youth :D
rabbee: no i think the lesson of the golden calf, put a stop to most of that. and they all did say, we do! at which point they all agreed with one religion with G-D.

Just curious.
rabbee: well if you do not know TheTorah, it won't make much sense to you. so yes what G-D came and said to me, does make perfect sense to me now. nor do i believe it is because, you can't understand any of it. it took me 41 years, to finally get it. in this world conditioning, you all against it.

In other words, the police DO have a duty to protect, but that duty is to the public in general, not to any one specific individual and any particular time. They cannot be held liable for a failure to protect.
Where do you get that there is some duty to provide public services?

Oh stop it already. Most people have evolved beyond Ayn Rand by the time they are 20.

My favorite kosher chocolate is Elite - made in Israel.
Most of the gelt in Chicago is Elite. Both milk and dark chocolate are available.

Hmmmmmm....need to be on look out. I dont think I have ever seen that. There is another popular Israeli brand - name escapes me - which is also good but I think Elite is better. Milk chocolate especially (sorry Liam!)

Do you even know the origins of the name "Israel"?

Its an Anglicization of a Hebrew name. Can you even provide the Hebrew name (transliterated, of course)?

You dont even know your own scriptures, I bet.

No. If I wanted to be Zen, I would have written a haiku...

nothing more awesome
than the universe we see
goodbye to the gods

(Not voting, out of protest. Don't like any of the choices.)

I kind of despised Zito until I regained my sense of humor. Then I appreciated him. Still didnt vote for him.

I would imagine similar to the sound of an old diesel vehicle trying to turn over in cold weather.
