It appears that the sandy hook event was a criminal orchestrated plot by your favorite administration.

That is your judgement and interpretation.

If you just look at the facts, you can start with okc, there was a very large cover up there starting with the farce that a box truck with fertilizer in it could somehow tear apart a building like that.

You think men of science haven't looked at all this and done the calculationes to verify what happened?

Do you believe in gravity?

Yeah really.
Why do so many of use like to see the world in black and white when most of us actually live in the gray areas?
That shrink is a republican I'm sure.
I own guns and enjoy shooting them. And I have a carry permit.
No one needs an assault weapon.
It is not the guns in society, it is the society that the guns are in. Just after Sandy Hook occured, I heard that in Switzerland, about 45% of the households own a fully automaitc assault rifle, a parting gift for military service, yet they never have events like this.

That sounds reasonable. Certain types of guns should just not be in the hands of civilians, but, given the second amendment, it's unreasonable to expect all guns to be banned.
The 2nd Amendment permits people to own any type of weapon. No limits. Tanks, missiles, mortars or howitzers, the Constitution says that we have a right to own them.

Using them, however, is another matter...

The real trick is keeping them out of the wrong hands.

What would your religion teach on a guy that has been poisoned, and has only a few hours to live.
This guy has never really been to any church of any kind.
He's a "regular joe "
He works, comes home throws back a few beers, only getting drunk on the weekends.
Watches porn when noone is around, uses gods name in vain every now and then. He stole a few things in his life, and cheated on his wife once or twice in the 30 years they were married.
Now he's is near death, and really thinking about heaven and hell for the first time.
He's never believed in god, but now he's thinking "what if I'm wrong? "
You are in the hospital room alone with him, and he ask you about heaven and hell, starts telling you all about his life.
What would you say to him?
Thanks for your answer in advance.
Same question to anyone of any religion.
Well, the first thing I would tell him is to relax, there is no such thing as Hell, it was a myth invented to scare the ignorant. While stealing and cheating are wrong, the big question is whether or not he has learned his lesson: will he do it again or has he learned that such things always cause harm to others?

Life is about making mistakes and learning from them, and growing into being a better person than you were.

Every option to protect the kids should be on the table for discussion. I thought about the idea of arming teachers, but I would rather favor an armed security guard at every school. That would be a perfect job for a retired cop.
Cops, even retired cops, cost money. The teachers are already on the payroll...

Besides, I live in an apartment, parking is hard enough with a smallish car...
