I don not deal in "links".... I like people to read on line and comment on what I wrote.
This is more practical than giving a link.
After all this is a forum for discussion and not exchanging "links"!!
Talk about the matter of the post and do not enter into side issues.
First off, you are posting things that someone else wrote. These are not things that you wrote personally. You copied it from somewhere else and pasted it on the forum. I see that you didn't quote a source, so technically speaking, you are plagirizing. Look up the word. How is you posting a bunch of garbage on the forum more practical. Do you pay attention to the stupidity that you post? Do you not think that these people are smart enough to click on a link and read the crap you are posting if they so choose? You think that by posting all of this crap that people are going to read it. Your fear is that they will ignore the links. Honestly, unless you post something original, it is ignored.

Think about this for a minute. You are wasting space and interest in the overall post by clogging the forum up with your silliness. Simply post your thoughts and add links when referencing non-original content. As for sticking to the items posted, you never did clarify your crazy simple-minded thoughts.

I see that you post things and when challenged, simply run away. This type of behavior kills your credibility fast. So, why don't you step back for a bit and address the challenges.

Your theories and thoughts are weak at best. Your logic is flawed and sideways to say the least. You are inefficient and at this point, not very bright.

Merry X-mas.

You want everyone to follow Jesus.
This would require setting aside one's own thinking and values and adopting those of your particular faith.
One would no longer be a free and indepedent thinker.
Not for me but thanks anyway.
HughBe--- WRONG again. I spoke about embracing Jesus, the Jew, the Christ and it is expected that you will THINK and see the light and stop following the nonsense of others.

Former--You want everyone to follow Jesus.

HughBe--- YES

Former--This would require setting aside one's own thinking and values and adopting those of your particular faith.

HughBe--- These are the things that would be involved; embracing TRUTH, embracing good values, loving good and love THINKING.

Former--One would no longer be a free and indepedent thinker.
Not for me but thanks anyway

HughBe-- Seeing and accepting TRUTH does not take away from your ability to THINK. What are required are THINKING and HONESTY.

Former--If not, I may need to get a new idol.

HughBe--- Be careful for I am a jealous idol.

Former--Envy, another of the deadly sins. Continue.

HughBe--- The truth is I did not need your prompt to continue as you clearly don't know that jealousy and envy are not the same thing. Take it from me they are not=

Former--Kindly explain.

HughBe---envy=a feeling of discontent or covetousness with regard to another's advantages, success, possessions,

Jealous=possessive and watchful in the maintenance or protection (of)

I Told my full experience to a guy once, that told me it was great that I was awaken to a better way of life, and after getting all I had done off of my chest was the reason I no longer needed to drink or take any drugs.
As far as my cussing? Idk.
He then said it was great what had happened, but that I didn't have to get all religious.
Well I thought alot about what he said.
But this didn't explain how before I had this exoerience, I would've just as soon scratch my eyes out, before reading a bible, but after I felt very lead to read a bible, and watch preaching.
Which I did for up to 12 hours a day some days.
I was not lead to read any other religiou stuff, just a bible.
As I read, it explained all that happened to me
Again, I can promise that before that night, you couldnt get me to read a bible for anything.
Indians, guys with a bone in their nose today, that has never heard of Jesus can all be saved the same way.
Realize that there is sonething much larger then us, realize that they do sin, which we all are convicted of, and simply calling upon this God to save them.
If soneone is serious, and just calls on God, then He will come forth and show them.
All other gods are dead. The one true God is alive.
They don't have to say Jesus, just be at a place where they are serious about wanting to know the truth.
Happy Holidays to you and yours :)
Like I sadi, live the best life that you can live. All of the other stuff will take care of itself. If the Bible and church make you happy, do it. Remember not to neglect other things that are important in your life.

Merry X-mas.

They do not allow blood transfusions.
What kind of incantations do you employ in your faith?
<quoted text>
ok - guilty as charged.
HughBe--- Please cite specific scriptural passage that lists (GLUTTONY) among the seven deadly sins.

Former--Do you only choose to believe certain books and not others?

HughBe--- Please do as asked.

Former--Do you take quizses on how to please your man?

HughBe--- I'm fully aware of how to please myself. How about your mate? Do you know how to please him?

Former--I chat with him on the internet.

HughBe--- I have no doubt about that and still you have not answered my question.

Former--Now you've just made me feel more guilty than I do.

HughBe--- So I did something good.

Former--Jews and Christians are big into quilt.
So you'd fit right into whatever you call yourself.

HughBe--- The question of guilt never entered my mind.

Former--It did above where you said it made you FEEL good to make me FEEL more guilty.

HughBe--- You are INSANE. These were my words "So I did something good". I repeat for your benefit, the matter of GUILT did not enter my mind.

HughBe --I'm an aspiring disciple of Jesus, the Christ, a believer in the God of Abraham and I would say a TRUE witness.

Former--JC is your god.

HughBe--- No. Jesus, the Christ is one of the 2 Jehovahs in the Tanach.

Former---Are you like a Jehovah's Witness? I knew some of them

HughBe--- I'm a TRUE witness of what is written in the scriptures.

Former--They do not allow blood transfusions.

HughBe--- What does God allow?

Former---What kind of incantations do you employ in your faith?

HughBe--- The only one that I use goes like this, Former the dumb ass, Former the dumb ass, former the dumb ass, come forth.

I find it curious that you have adopted the Hebrew name for your scriptures, but yet the text of such scriptures are not the Hebrew version.

I find it curious that YOU, a member of Judaism, don't know that there are versions of your scriptures in ENGLISH. Would you like me to quote one for YOU?

So what is your point?
