I would NEVER want to do that. However, I would be happy if the whole world embraced Jesus, the Jew, the Messiah, the Creator or one of the TWO Jehovahs in the Tanach.

The currently recognized version of the sins are usually given as wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and GLUTTONY.

Sounds good.

Look at the list of 7 deadly sins above and tell me the others that you enjoy practicing, or not.

I have been guilty of all of them at one time or the other.

But he can't be everywhere and couple of teachers, well-trained and qualified could add to the security.
These could be teachers who are aleady comfortable with guns, perhaps hunters, sportsmen/people.
They key things here would be their qualifications and of course keeping the guns safely in the school setting.
I laughed off the idea when I first heard it - I think I even posted that - but then got to thinking about it.
The idea of arming pilots sounded a little funny at first too.
Just a thought.

Think how many more kids this CT guy would have shot if he had 30 minutes until the cops got there?

You want everyone to follow Jesus.

This would require setting aside one's own thinking and values and adopting those of your particular faith.

One would no longer be a free and indepedent thinker.

Some say, that the main goal, of an apple tree, is to produce other apple trees.

There will never be peace on this earth, as we know it.

Yet a person can have peace while living on this earth.

I love the example of the thief on the cross, it shows the full Grace of God.

Christians argue over baptisms, and the thief on the cross.
some say he died under the law, and nor grace.

The problem with that, is he was not a very good guy, he was on the cross fot stealing, and even told the other thief, that they were getting what they deserved.

People before Jesus, was looking toward His coming, people today look back at His coming.

People of all works can be "good " and bad, but in Gods eyes our best day is filthy rags.
He accepts those who accept His Son.

Many try to make this world their home, but the more they get, the more they need.
They are left feeling empty.

I spent years trying to fill a void in me, that only Jesus Christ could fill.

Many try to fill that void, with drugs, booze, sex, and many try to fill it with religion.

The thief made it to heaven, smelling like the smoke of hell, with no rewards, but he's there. Praise the Lord!:)
Ans.

I think that you have become over emotional. You are trying to tell the example of thief and giving him too much importance than the story needs.

Yes if a man repents of his sins even at the death bed, God can forgive him. But to make this world a better place,. We need, children, youths, adults and grown up people good people, because they are what who make any society good or bad.

If Jesus filled the void in you, I thank you, but if you think that Jesus is God, you are committing a very worst crime. Equating a man with God.
