So you're saying doctors can't help with every single problem?
Ok - fair enough.
I think they would agree.
In family medicine, these patients are known as "The Worried Well."
Also, negative test results don't prove the doc is ineffective.
The doc has an obilgation to "rule out" potentially serious conditions.
If he had missed esophageal cancer, I imagine you'd also have a problem with that.
We are talking about a proper course of treatment and the doctor suggests NOTHING about building up your immune system through proper nutrition because doctors know nothing about nutrition.

Why Apple Cider Vinegar Works
When a toenail fungus infection occurs, the pH of the surrounding skin and nail becomes more basic or alkaline in nature. The fungus thrives in an alkaline environment. If the pH of the area turns from basic to more acidic, the fungus cannot survive. This is where the apple cider vinegar becomes useful. The vinegar is acidic but still mild enough to not damage the surrounding skin and nail.
-------
Frijoles note: that is all and good, but unless the vinegar can penetrate the nail bed - you are wasting your time, sadly. As I did.
For full nail bed penetration, just use a stronger acid. Either boil down the apple cider, or go straight for the sulfuric acid!

I dont remember. I dont see how that would make a difference. If it was to work, it would be because of the acidity which shouldnt vary.
Do you know what makes apple cider vinegar organic? Lack of fungacides to the apple trees. I would think residual fungacides would help you get rid of a fungus.
apv is used to treat heartburn as well.

If alternative treatments work, then it should be easily demonstrated with double-blind scientific studies with control groups using placebos. If the results of the studies show the treatment is effective, it will be very hard for anyone to poo poo it. Unfortunately, many alternative treatments don't hold up to scrutiny, hence why they are poo poo'ed. But I don't expect you to understand any of this given your proclivity to conspiracy theories.
Without the backing of a major pharmaceutical manufacturer, who would pay for the testing?

Ah, no. If 30 million people don't have health care, that IS bad. Very bad. There is something broken with a society that allows that to happen.

Today's food production system systematically reduces
nutrient content resulting in a low nutrient density food. As
a consequence, large sectors of the U.S. population are
becoming chronically deficient in nutrients, and millions are
already afflicted with nutrition related illnesses, from anemia
to cancer, or troubled with undiagnosed symptoms: fatigue,
anxiety, headaches, nervousness, depression, eating or
drinking disorders [The Kellogg Report, 1989]

I would be okay with it >>IF<< the government would do a better job trying to keep it up to date and accurate. Like taking names OFF when appropriate.

And show me where in the Constitution there is a guarentee of a right to fly...

Same thing. Without health insurance, most people can't get health care. Or they clog up emergency rooms with trivial illnesses that SHOULD be seen in a doctor's office, because the ER cannot turn them away, and that is the ONLY way they can get ANY health care.

So, are you saying that people should not have the freedom to choose processed food?

I think that it is better and so people are willing to pay much more for it. Here in Jamaica a SMALL bottle of Braggs apple cider vinegar cost perhaps $600 while a gallon of cane vinegar cost less than $300. It could even be less than $150.

Alternative treatments are tested all the time in academia. In addition, companies test them from time to time with the hopes of productizing them.

I don't recall you saying anything about the patient being malnourished.

The doc should have done blood tests for any deficiencies.
