MECHANISM OF BEING & NATURE:

1) Consciousness = Awareness.

2) Awareness is Perception.

3) Perception leads to Understanding.

4) Understanding leads to Dynamic Action.

5) Dynamism involves Energy of Conciousness.

FAITH BRINGS IN WORRIES:

Faith is always blind since one merely believes in something without proof and without any assurance that the thing believed in will yield the expected result or work out the way one desires it to. This gives rise to wishful thinking, bigotry, irrationality, delusion, fatalism and frustration. So, faith is a big burden and brings into the psyche of the believer its own load of worries.

STOP BELIEVING.

SUGGESTION: BEING & BECOMING

Never believe in anything blindly. Inquire thoroughly into the logic of the process and if it seems probable and realistic then make every effort to realize and materialize it in the now!

CONCLUSION:

IF by faith is meant belief in God or Prophet then remember that neither Allah nor Vishnu nor YHVH nor Muhammad nor Jesus nor Buddha nor Ahura Mazda are wise or powerful enough to change us or the world into the stuff of perfection since the higher and the highest ranges of perfection are way beyond these lowly entities.

THE SEARCH CONTINUES....

EVIDENTLY, we've still not found the perfect God or the perfect Prophet. The various versions of God and the numerous Prophets of the different religions are so many minor entities.

I did, move
So, In a volunteerist society, whenever your neighbor does something that adversely affects your quality of life and won't listen to reason, the only recourse you have other than to grin and bear it is to move? And probably at a significant property value loss to boot since no one wants to move next to a toxic waste dump. Sounds pretty feeble to me. I don't think you thought this through all the way.

That was exactly my point. If it was alive in the womb, then it would have been killed upon being expelled. Since Exodus makes it clear that it is not killed, then it could not have been alive in the womb. Well, "alive" in the sense that it was not yet a living person. Obviously, the cells were living and multiplying...

Volunteerist needs to change his name to Idealist, because these are all ideas and nothing more. No facts on the ground. No societies to point towrds. That I know of, at least.

This of course is repeated in “state” constitutions such as
Arizona:“governments … are established to protect and maintain
individual rights.” Arizona constitution article II § 2 . This is why
standing and jurisdiction must always involve a plaintiff’s rights.
rabbee: you still, miss the point. the declaration of independance, is the letter to england. and does not stipulate, any specific rights or laws. of their intent to seperate and cut ties, with the brittish empire. it does not designate, any of the duties of the three branches of the yet to be government.

and now you have a government that is doing, precisely what the brittish empire was doing. taxing the hell out of us, and running roughshod over our ""unalienable" " rights for the sake of the few. the constitution is the document, of the majority rule, not minority rule.

Good one!

If we got all these bloggers/posters together, it might look a lot like the bar scene in Star Wars (or Dirty Franks in Phila or Bacteria Bills in Banksville NY where we used to go in HS days when drinking age was still 18).

I've had similar conversations with a Libertarian relative.

As in, what does he suggest of my neighbor decides to install several chicken coops next door.

He said the other neighbors should get together and purchase the guy's house.

These folks are not unlike religious nuts. Living in lala land.

He was sounding half-way reasonable for while, then seemed to kind of go of the deep end again.

I'm thinking some sort of life event might have occurred.

Joel dear, while I appreciate the song and think that it is a nice one you must keep in mind that men of unclean ways and refuse between the ears are around.
They will twist words like, I feel you touch me in the rain.

rabbee: not quite repeated: here is a sample of the colorado constitution, which is simular to the many states other than the commonwealth of virgina:

Preamble

We, the people of Colorado, with profound reverence for the Supreme Ruler of the Universe, in order to form a more independent and perfect government; establish justice; insure tranquillity; provide for the common defense; promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this constitution for the "State of Colorado".

all of them specificly and strongly mention, some kind of reverence for G-D. with virgina's constitution, the only one specificly mentioning jesus christ.

thought they are all simular, to the us constitution. only because each state, was initially considered republics not democracies.

Whats wrong with chickens?

My wife keeps threatening to get some

Some of the more enlightened towns have ordinances against roosters, not chickens.

The People of Connecticut acknowledging with gratitude, the good providence of God, in having permitted them to enjoy a free government; do, in order more effectually to define, secure, and perpetuate the liberties, rights and privileges which they have derived from their ancestors; hereby, after a careful consideration and revision, ordain and establish the following constitution and form of civil government.

Let me be frank with you. I regard or rank your integrity level way above Frijoles and the other fellow. So, do not join their CS.

Truthfully, both leaves a lot to be desired in terms of very basic human decency and honesty.

I actually like both CRUFFS but that does not change the reality as descrbed above.

DO NOT lower yourself into their cesspool or their dwelling place.
