He won by less than 5 million votes- less than 4%. He only carried 2 more states than the GOP.
Stop acting like it was a Reagan victory.
I notice you said "GOP" instead of Mitt romney.

Im terribly ashamed of him as well, having come from the town where he has lived his adult life.

many of you from the right, are fond of refering to him as a "rino"
that would make you, mikey deducci, a DINO....which is rather appropriate, dont you think?
I had been wondering why DINO has not taken hold

But the truth is, Democrats cast a wider net, they aren’t looking to cull people out of the party the way the GOP and specifically the Tea Baggers want to do.

Fine by me, they can divide themselves into a smaller minority than they already are.

How can you just leave me standing, alone in a world that's so cold? Maybe I'm just too demanding, maybe I'm just like father, too poor.
Maybe I'm just like my mother- she's never satisfied. Why do we scream at each other? This is what is sounds like.........

it is that orthodoxy, which is one of the biggest assets that the democrats have in future elections.

I thank the tea party for doubling down on stoopid...

The GOP has a choice to make, take the Tea party out of power, or resign themselves to losing election after election.

Of course I have, but no one cares except you for some insane reason. Perhaps you're just stupid and you vote lock step party line and can't understand independent thought. That's your problem Fruitloops, not ours.

Arnold called himself a republican. He never called himself a "rethug". There you go lying and getting all dopey again.

I vote my conscience, not the party line. You should too.

I would love to vote independently, what I want is the GOP to give me an actual viable alternative.

They have been dismally failing to do so, election after election after election.

I want to go to the polls and be conflicted over who to vote for because of the merits of each, that has only happened once in the last couple of decades, and that was a primary vote for a party candidate.

Just once I would like to go to the polls not sure if I will vote for the democrat or republican candidate.

The GOP has to step up and present a serious candidate.

I'm sure they take your advice under consideration. And then reject it as inflammatory, simplistic and stupid.

You should try and tell him again, I think this time he'll get it. Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye, never gonna run around and desert you. Or you could just repeat yourself over and over again to no effect. Never gonna give, never gonna give, give you up. Ha ha.

I still say take the crutches away from both parties, 1 tax rate, zero deductions for anything at all, first $20,000 not taxed at all, the rest taxed enough to pay for the previous years budget.

add another 2% until the debt it paid down.

You take away the Democrats crutch of trying to control behavior through taxation, and the republicans bribing the self interested to vote for them.

A pipe dream I know. but it would be fair.

You want a tax break, lower spending

you want a program... pay for it

I would love to see Romney’s face when he realized he would actually have to pay the same rate as me., no deductions, no loopholes.

Of course I do, but I would be willing to give them up, as long as that was applied to everyone.

I would be willing to pay a higher rate if everyone paid the same rate with no deductions
