it was simply a tribute to the middle ages...and the last templar!!

which is where the tea party seems to want to go politically.

so what about the other post I left you??

you never say much!!???

about the minutia of the weed issue??

what are you afraid of??

I was right about 215?? wasnt I??

dont take it too hard, I usuallly cut people slack, after I cut them down.(or debunk their arguements in your case)

can you envision california paying less for its criminal justice system??

proposition 36 adresses the fact that half the people in this country/state are in jail for non-violent crimes....

drug offenders in particular will be given leinience....less lives connected to them destroyed.

yes on 36.

Proposition 19 would change California Law to Legalize Marijuana and Allow It to Be Regulated and Taxed:
- Allows people 21 years old or older to possess, cultivate, or transport marijuana for personal use.
- Permits local governments to regulate and tax commercial production and sale of marijuana to people 21 years old or older.
- Prohibits people from possessing marijuana on school grounds, using it in public, smoking it while minors are present, or providing it to anyone under 21 years old.
- Maintains current prohibitions against driving while impaired.
How will you vote on November 2?
U have got to be kidding. Kids are suspended in schools now for bringing marijuana in their backpacks. Legalize it and u will smell it( but not see it) in McDonald's too. So, if u don't mind sucking in pot air at every Starbuck's u go to, then make your choice. BTW if u have children, 18 yr olds can tell u they have the right to smoke it at the dining table too.

this month is the 30th anniversary of the declaration of the war on drugs.

the reagan administration claimed it would cost 200 million a year....

today?? we are spending 25 billion a year on it.

altogether the amount spent on arresting, prosecuting and incarcerating drug offenders is approching 1 trillion dollars, total spent, since 1970.

that is just tax payer money fed into the system.

that doesnt include residual costs regarding the lives that were destroyed.

what it has been is a war on people

see the film "traffic"(2000)

According the Congressional Budget Office, the stimulus cost more than the Iraq war. The only thing it succeeded in doing was to push the country deeper into the fiscal hole, leaving us stuck with the weakest recovery since World War II. Mr. Obama promises more of the same in a second term.

It can’t work. British economist John Maynard Keynes was the father of the theory that government spending could create prosperity. Since his death in 1946, this damaging idea has resulted in the transfer of trillions of dollars of wealth away from the people who earned it and into the hands of bureaucrats. Such redistribution of income cannot result in economic growth.

Spending for the sake of spending makes no sense when it comes to a family budget, and federal budgets are no different. That extra government spending must either be financed by higher taxes or by increased debt. Higher taxes mean that taxpayers will have a lower net income, forcing them to reduce their spending. All debt has to be repaid eventually — and the most likely scenario is higher taxes will hit in the future when the debt comes due. Either way, there are no long-term gains to the economy. The only lasting result is increased debt and a larger government which weigh down the economy.

The stimulus bill, known as the American Reconstruction and Recovery Act (ARRA), provides strong evidence that Keynesian solutions are nothing more than a spending shell game. Stanford’s John Taylor, in a study published in the Journal of Economic Literature, followed the stimulus money. He found “if there had been no temporary stimulus payments to individuals or families, their total consumption would have been about the same. And if there had been no ARRA grants to states and localities, their total expenditures would have been about the same.” That is, the economy would have done at least as well had Mr. Obama’s legislation failed.

Hasn't worked because its marxism-socialism-communism-me rcantilism which loots the public and private sectors , using the public power for personal and private gain!
It always fails! Obama is a failure! The Democrat Party is a failure! And they're trying to drag the rest of us down to heII with them!

Willard Mitt Romney was rude and a bully in his debate, constantly interrupting The President of the USA, and when he wasn't interrupting or speaking over him he was smirking, smiling, laughing, guffawing and making other rude noises.

Willard Mitt Romney was breathing out the backside of his pants.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Capricorn

If you're feeling lonely and vulnerable, it seems as though someone is out to get you. Perhaps you're separated from the people you love and you don't like it. Try not to mope for too long, because there are important things that need your attention. Speaking of which, if you need to do something that you're dreading, you'll feel much better if you can get it out of the way quickly. If you leave it, the very thought of it will drain your energy.
