#5979 Nov 5, 2012
the idea of the federal governmnent forcing people to take benfits is absurd....needy people, just TRY TO GET what they can.
then again, so is the notion that the democrats policies are associated with satan.

Mrs. Sharon Green WON here court case months agao (late 2012) and still the city of Glendora and Anchor Pacifica management co. are dragging the reslults around in further stalling actions in court.
Shame on the City of Glendora, California for continueing to employe Anchor Pacifica Management Co. to run a city owned facility at 1000 S. Glendora Avenue, Glendora, California 91740..
It's a senior citizens living facility.
Who do we have to blame for this:
D. Wayne Leech - city attorney.. Republican
Douglas Tessitor - city council.. Republican
Judy Nelson - city council.. Tea Bagger - Republican
Gene Murabito - city council.. Republican
Joseph Santoro - city council.. Republican
Karen Davis - city council.. She doesn't know
Chris Jeffers - city manager.. Republican
Josh Betta - EX finance director, now he works in the city of Bell, California.. Republican
Jeff Kurgel - city development director.. Republican
Anchor Pacifica Management Co.. Republican
The city of Glendora, California is going so far to avoid disclosure to the public that they're spending a lot of money in attorney's fees to drag this issue out.

Those who don't purchase insurance, and don't qualify for Medicaid or subsidies, will be assessed a tax of $95 (or 1% of income, whichever is higher) in 2014. It increases to $325 (or 2% of income) in 2015, and $695 (or 2.5% of income) in 2016.
more like bribery

I was against the mandate??
why?/ because a mandate to buy rip off products, from a rip off industry, doesnt intice me to buy in...
I AM howvever, very much in favor of the OTHER provisions of O" BAMA-romney care...
they are gaining popularity as well..
THOSE are the provisions that Insurers are against....
you see ricard?? they WANT the mandated customers, but they dont want the rules that go along with a mandate, to buy their shitty products.
so it really isnt the democrats fault??
although I would have liked to see a few faces at the table other than industry insiders....
but with every other industrialized country in the world now enjoying universal care??? It is only a matter of time until we get it.
Obama care and the subsequent ruling that upheld it??
are import civil rights victories, on the way to ultimate health care of our citizenry, so we cam be more competative.
the biggest change to a government run system?? would be an emphasis on preventative care....something that is currently(and conveiniently) missing in most of our private plans in this nation.
it saves PEOPLE money in the long run to have preventative care...
and a dismissal of preventative care, embraces a culture of cultivating cases for catastropic care....which is really sick and in-human.
not to mention expensive, to the society at large.
ps: riccardo?? what do you think of preventative care, vs catasprohic care??
#5988 Nov 5, 2012
they need to come up with a new symbol on the "judge it" screen.
just for you....
#5989 Nov 5, 2012

#5990 Nov 5, 2012
take the blame for what???
sandy was a storm of massive proportions....
people are helping each other get back on their feet...
state and local government are doing their best.....just like in katrina
with what they have left...
the criticism of Bush, stemmed from the conditions at the superdome, and the fact that NG diudnt roll in until friday afternoon.....
in Bush's defense?? there were mitigating factors that prevented a full rescue, like was possible in sandy.
but bush did the best he could too......but HE was bush, so expecting much help for the poor is a losing proposition.
same deal with ike....

Then along comes the Mexican revolution in the early 1900's and it is unsafe to stay there. Back to the US where the ROMNEY family is given some repatraition funding of just under $10,000 and off they go, father and grandfather sharing this "government handout pot" and the rest if the fog of history.
#5992 Nov 5, 2012
Fair enough, so is Obama's past off limits? His dope years, his radical friends, his real father, his grandparents and great grandparents, let's all go back 150 years and analyze their families? Sound fair? LOL...Let's go back and check your family's past and punish you for somebody in your family. fair?
#5993 Nov 5, 2012
conditions at superdome and not being able to get in was Bush's fault? lol...hypocrite! to the max.
#5994 Nov 5, 2012
More REPUBLICAN CROOKS UNCOVERED IN cALIFORNIA $11 MILLION DOLLARS WORTH, LETS take the money as proceeds of RICO activites.
"Under California law, the failure to disclose this initially was campaign money laundering," FPPC wrote. "At $11 million, this is the largest contribution ever disclosed as campaign money laundering in California history."
#5995 Nov 5, 2012
if we are going to call Romney out on those roots??
we can easily call the president out for being weed/coke dealer in high school.....which I often do....
because he reversed his policies on the weed war.
and now he is officially a huge hypocrit....
who isnt pro-choice??
he is multiple choice.
the other stoopid tea party crap about the marxist associations is pure hooey, that shows their lack of understanding about the width of the political spectrum, and a shallow knowledge of how our capitalist system really works.
weve had 'socialism" for 80 years now.
the success of the entire progressive age is built on on it!!
#5996 Nov 5, 2012
NO not rescueing them by boat load by boat load was his fault,......to the max....
and NOT bringing food along with that rescue??
that was his fault..... to the max....
bush tried?? but people still died.
