Many groups funded prop 8, many groups funded opposition to prop 8. So what? You wish there was a law that if someone funds anti-gay marriage legislation, you can deny them equal rights. But, too bad for you, and too good for equal rights, there is not. So like it or lump it jackass, equal rights are for everyone even those who attempt to deny them to others.

Some homosexual activists also see the link between same-sex marriage and polygamy (or polyamory, multiple romantic and sexual relationships without legal marriage). Justin Michael, founder of the group "Polyamorous NYC," says that efforts by homosexual activists to deny the link with polyamory is false and cowardly. "I'd encourage people to keep an open mind," he asserted, "it wasn't too long ago that gay relationships were completely ostracized. All movements have a tendency to build on the movements that have come before them." He added: "It's hypocritical for us as gays and lesbians to pretend we're the only people who are treated differently because our relationships are not mainstream. Both communities are concerned with love, and forming lasting relationships, and with our own liberation."

I do sometimes use “take what you put out” as an argument of those individuals that cannot see past themselves, but in no way am I for denying such rights. Again I would vote in favor of poly marriage if it came up, I am only noticing that it isn’t going to come up, because the most vocal supporters of it are too lazy to do anything about it but whine on an internet forum. If they try it in Utah, they will be laughed off the national stage, Utah is already in the national news working to deny marriage equality to others. They could try it in California, but funds coming from Utah into California for a proposition have sort of a negative image right now. Maybe Montana would be a good place to start.

Whining on an internet forum will not get you anywhere.

Of course Fundamentalist Mormons are a tiny percentage of polygamists and mainstream Mormons do not practice it at all. Most polygamists are not religious, and many are Islamic. I purposely used Mormons to bring out your inner bigot and I succeeded nicely. I'm tired of your "I'm laughing at you" and "Laughing hysterically at Utah" bullsh!t. It's always the same- I support poly it's just that everyone else doesn't support those child raping welfare cheats in Utah.(The children were removed from their parents in Texas by the way, not Utah).

Oh I am an active supporter of space sciences, I talk with my wallet on that. I am not personally going to space, too old am afraid But back to the actual topic here, Same sex marriage, it is hilarious that your champions are from Utah... what a contradiction, and if they ask for marriage equality on the national stage, we all know what will get thrown in their face. I still think Montana is a better place for you to start, they pride themselves on their rebelliousness anyway.

They have already passed fitness requirements, they have already served on the front lines they have already fought and died under enemy fire. You are just ignorant of the fact. I understand you don’t like laws to change, get over it, we changed the laws that allowed slaves, we changed the laws that denied women the vote, we changed the laws that kept people of color in a lower class, and this law will change too, regardless of your fear of it. Women have different fitness standards from men, there is no gender equality in the military. If you change combat qualifications to let women in front line troops, that's bad leadership.

Because you say so... no Women have already been on the front lines, weapon in hand, fought and died for our country. "The front lines" are a more fluid concept now than it was in earlier wars, in this day and age the front lines can suddenly appear and disappear. There is no need to change the combat qualifications because of women, the qualifications are indeed changing but because of technology, not because of women. There is not currently gender equality in the military, that is in the process of changing, regardless of your objections.

The physical fitness training standards are here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Ar... You can see for yourself, the standards are lower for women. If you want to let unqualified people in combat units, change the rules for everyone, not just women.

You don’t get it, the standards are going to be lowering anyway, because of technology, and raising in other respects, particularly intellectually In 10 years we will have few piloted aircraft in 25 years there will probably be no crews in tanks Already we have women in house to house searches in Afghanistan side by side men in ground action You can whine and complain all day long, it wont matter, this change is overdue ( other countries have already done it ) and is coming regardless of your objections

Sorry to spoil your fun but the secular humanists who support marriage equality for everyone, including Mormons in Utah, and are "my champions", are not from Utah. Would you be less hostile and/or amused at denying equality if the people in Utah were excluded? How about a gay polyamorist relationship in Utah? If you were king would you deny that too? Or do they get a pass in Big D's Bigotland simply because they are gay and not Mormons?
