Same sex marriage has been recognised, nationally, in Canada for the last 7 or 8 years.
In the last 7 or 8 years Canada's prisons have seen three, count 'em, three, same sex marriages. No outbreak of forced same sex marriages and the Canadian police haven't created laws about any of the gibberish you have mentioned.
