Yeah that's what they say against same sex marriage too. Just because someone else believes they don't have it...not a valid reason...bla bla bla.
Equality is equality. Bigotry is bigotry.
You are against marriage equality. But you are for same sex marriage. Got it.
Truth is I donít have an opinion on polygamous or incestuous marriage rights and I donít believe that I have to in order to deserve Gay Marriage Equality. Do you believe that polygamous or incestuous marriages should be legal?

Why does it matter Dan? Do you support equality for people with a good social life or a bad one?
Both.

C'mon be my friend Dan. I never had an ignorant dope like you for a friend! Might be fun. You could threaten people for me!
Too Funny!
Nah. I'll pass.

And if I remember right you were the one who said you wanted a piece of me...I just advised where I was going to be so you'd have a chance at it.

You're not for gay marriage. I see no honest support from you towards that end.

You don't vote out individual rights of American citizens.
Pretty simple concept and if you had an IQ above that of a snapping turtle walking off a cliff because it thought it could fly you'd get it.
You no doubt probably have freedoms and liberties you enjoy as an American but might not be wildly popular so in turn if we deny gays the ability to marry based on a vote then can we vote on your individual freedoms?
Sure you do. We just voted higher taxes for a 1% minority of our citizens! Easy! So much for the tyranny of the majority, eh Dan?

Four more years! Yes we can! But we just didn't yet. Maybe this term though...or not.

So why does it matter how mine is? Of course we know yours is very active, cool and classy and all that. But what does it matter to equal rights? It doesn't.

What a jackass!

Pickerington?

I'm from Colorado...lived in California most of my life now but spent a year in Lancaster, Ohio.

Very conservative area and one in which gay marriage would seem hard to pass if left to a vote.

Actually, yes you can. Straight people do it every day.
"straight people" aren't the ones claiming you can't, and then adding miles of footnotes to the "equal right's" claim to exclude all others but same sex and heterosexual.

What is funny is that you think you are somehow MORE for "equal right's" than another group because you want to include yourselves while excluding all others. Its cute really.

So it is OK to exclude consenting adults from the right of marriage based on the number of parties involved, yet not OK when it comes to gender?

How many other exceptions would you like to include in your- I'm for equal right's of all- claim?

What you're attempting is a play on words.

There is no aspect of gays wanting "more" in terms of equal rights. In fact the term sums it up - equal rights.

As far as the rest of your thoughts here again is why you are incorrect;

Gays pursuing equal rights in terms of marriage have never made efforts towards excluding others. They are only focused on their path towards equality when it comes to marriage mainly because of the concentrated effort it will take to make it a national reality.

Disagree??

Then find just ONE case where gays took efforts to excluding say polygamists from marrying. Just one....because if you cannot you are what I already know of you - you're a liar.

The poster merely pointed to the fact polygamy involved itself with a completely different set of circumstances in terms of marriage than the gay marriage issue in that polygamists are concerned with marriages involving themselves with 3 or more adults in a union.

And apparently that confused you.

No, the poster said it was OK to exclude consenting adults from the right of marriage based on the number of parties involved, but not OK when it comes to gender.
