<quoted text>Look.
He was impeached by the House. He WAS impeached. PERIOD. You can call what happened in the Senate whatever you want. You can use whatever adjectives or adverbs make you happy. Impeachment is done by the House. Bill Clinton was impeached. END OF STORY.
Impeachment in the United States is an expressed power of the legislature that allows for formal charges against a civil officer of government for crimes committed in office. The actual trial on those charges, and subsequent removal of an official on conviction on those charges, is separate from the act of impeachment itself.
SEPARATE FROM THE ACT OF IMPEACHMENT ITSELF.
I have never once said he was not impeached, not once. Go back and look, you will never find one instance where I said he was not impeached.

He was impeached by the house, however that impeachment failed in the senate which has the power to try impeachments, not indictments, not criminal trials, but impeachments, and he was acquitted, and not a single penalty spelled out in the articles of impeachment were implemented.

I wish they had, I wish the impeachment had been successful because we would live in a very different world today if it had ( in my opinion better ) but... it failed in the trail in the Senate and it died there.

do you need me to quote the constitution again? It will be the same passage, with the power of the Senate to try Impeachments, the word did not change when passing from the house to the Senate.

That doesn't mean the impeachment failed.

But please, go ahead and quote the Constitution all you want. You are interpreting it incorrectly. Call your old high school history teacher. Call your local university. Call the library. Call 1-800- who gives a shit.

Yes...they try... "Impeachments"

It passed in the house.. he was impeached by the house, and failed in the senate where “Impeachments” are tired.
The impeachment was a charge made by the house, and regardless of if I think the was innocent or guilty, the charge, the impeachment... failed in the senate on Feb 12 1999
are we finally getting somewhere?
No.

I love my Homosexual friends, the lesbians, my canine Honey, and yes, even the Africans. Even so, I do not approve of cross-dressing drug using South Asian sub-continent "Blacks" pretending to be women so that they can compete against dainty non-lesbian women in sporting events. I also take askance when these same "Blacks" make trusting women suffer fates worse than death. My revulsion only increases when perpetrators of rapes have reneged on promises of marriage to the victims.

I am certain you do not give a shit about our constitution, but I do, I am a patriot :)

well I did get a little where today, I taught you that the senate does indeed try Impeachments, something you didn’t know. So there wont by any more posts by you claiming that they don’t.

Yes they do, and have twice tried impeachments of presidents

Both times the impeachments failed and the penalties spelled out in the impeachments were not implemented.

The first was Andrew Johnson by the way

Are you one of those fundies who believes Jesus only died for white people?
(I didn't bother reading the rest of your post.)

To get the taste of Christians out of their mouths.

Daily Horoscope for May 26

Libra

Home is where your heart is today and you won't want to stray very far away from it. Maybe you could invite some of your nearest and dearest round for a meal that you cook yourself, giving you the opportunity to really spoil them. If you can't see someone in person you'll enjoy ringing them up for a chat to find out how they are, especially if you've been rather worried about them lately.
