That is the problem, you have to appeal to the tea party and religious extremists to get nominated, and in doing so, you alienate everyone else.

That problem is going to get bigger and bigger as time goes on.

The question is, will the GOP recognize what everyone else already sees. They must marginalize their fringes or resign themselves to failure.

This issue isn’t going to go away, they have to start looking at the country as what it is, not what it used to be. The past is past, we are not going back to the 1950’s ( thank goodness )
