When are we going to shut down the southern border for our safety? Obama is so concerned about Libya when they pose no danger to the USA. It's time our socialist leader wake up and start working for the american people.

<quoted text>Only the border states belonged to Mexico, which was purchased by the U.S.If they didnt want to sell the border states, why did they accept the money? Its not theirs now and the Northern and Eastern States never belonged to Mexico, whats the illegal aliens excuse for invading those states? Mexico once belonged to Spain,so whas your point? Obviously Mexicans couldnt do anything with the border states anyway,Americans did.So Mexico is just S.O.L.
Your right, Mexico accepted the money for the border states at that time. If this generation of Mexicans are angry about it, well it's done and they can't just assume they can trample over this country now and remain here because this generation would've done different back then. They can thank their beloved Mexico for what they believe never should've happened. Goes to show money was a real issue then as it is now. What if Spain decides they want to claim Mexico back? What then? would they still flee their country and refuse to fight for it, asking for asylum in the US? STAND UP AND FIGHT FOR YOUR MEXICO LINDO, PEOPLE. YOUR THERE, FIGHT FOR YOUR COUNTRY & DIE FOR IT IF YOU MUST.

Isn't cocain the big thing for those cartels, and not so much weed? I thought this recent violence was about the transportation routes for coke to the US...
And the issue is far more complicated: in many countries dealers will do anything to get customers and get them addicted, so I think it is way too easy to just put this on the plate of the average joint-smoker ;)
This is a complicated multi-level problem and if there's ever going to be a solution it probably won't be simple either.
If you ask me, the first thing that has to take place is the improvement of people's living standards in Mexico. I'd say: let them all in to the US; it was their country to begin with... ;)

Say what ever you want. If the market is not here the problem goes away. Weed IS a major problem at the border. You know it and I know it. We can pretend it is not our problem but the the truth is we invite this problem and the violence is now on our side of the border. How far are our heads up our rear ends folks. As long as the cartels feel they can make money here they will continue to push their product through our borders.

people from 3rd world countries have 3rd world mentality. if they didnt destroy and mis-run their own country it wouldnt be a 3rd world country in the first place. i dont know if its just bc theyre not civilized or theyre just really stupid.

i say we take over mexico, destroy their leader and put those people to work to make that country beautiful again.

Non-natural earthquakes? Please do explain how you know that they are not natural earthquakes.

I don't believe that our government is saintly but I do believe that you've been watching too many James Bond movies to make a comment about non-natural earthquakes.
